Early Access Review
A wonderful and accessible roguelike / -lite or whatever you want to call it. An engaging story, wonderful soundtrack to go along and a fair difficulty level.

While it might take some tries to go further for some people and some tries more for others, those that seek a challenge can later turn on the HEAT (literally) for greater glory and rewards. With different weapon types, minor customization (gathered every run) and boons from the greek pantheon, HADES already makes not every run the same; especially with room and enemy variation. Though sometimes you get some rewards that might make your run harder than it should be, you - albeit some exceptions - always can choose and see which reward type (and from which god) you should get. Once you get a feeling for what is what, those choices can help further to make each run a succesful one.

Bosses and (Mini-)Bosses test your mettle before you can progress to the next area.

The only thing that might distract some, [minor spoilers ahead] is there is no true ending screen and you are sent back to start over again; though this can be stomached knowing that everything will be said and done, once 1.0 releases...
