Well, funny story. Did you watch South Park? In S04E13 the disabled kid 'Timmy Burch' (Timmeeeeh) bought a disabled turkey and named him 'Gobbles'. I was a small kid back then and my TV was ♥♥♥♥, so i understood 'Goggelz' all the time. Uncapitalize the nickname and there you have it - a perfect lower cased goggelz.

I didn’t play as ‘goggelz’ all the time, but most of it. So let me tell you my Story. Everything began with the childish name 'Shinobi'.

War§oW – Insta-Phreakz
I played a lot of FPS earlier in the days – it all began with 'War§oW', where I pretty much played Instagib only. I somehow managed to form a small team called 'Insta-Phreakz' [play.eslgaming.com]. Since my teammates were pretty skilled players, we were able to compete against ‘PlayMateZ’ in the ESL. One of our enemies was ‘mason’ – a former Painkiller pro and Player for ‘Team Speedlink’. I can’t quite remember the result from that day, but I guess it was not too bad after all. We played more often after and I joined 'PlayMateZ' [play.eslgaming.com], where I changed my nickname to ‘goggelz’.


Quake Live - myRevenge
Some time went by and we switched to 'Quake Live' as soon as it was released in 2010. Since ‘mason’ was a former Painkiller pro, I had an enjoyable time practicing this kind of games, it taught me lot about different weaponry, item timings, mind games and so on. I never won against ‘mason’, but I evolved to be a fairly strong player in the German scene, my top rank was about 25 in the ‘Duel’ mode. That was the point where some teams showed interest in me and first come first serve, I joined 'ClazziX-eSports' [play.eslgaming.com]. I played a few duels under their flag and earned the attention of 'myRevenge' [play.eslgaming.com], whom I joined due to the lack of a contract with ‘ClassiX-eSports’. Well, funny part is, I didn’t set one up with ‘myRevenge’ either. Months passed while playing for ‘myRevenge’ when suddenly my PC broke down and I was denied the ability to play ‘Quake Live’ any further. Additionally, my ESL Profile was deleted magically, neither me, nor the ‘PlayMateZ’ community had an explanation for what happened. Though I was negotiating with the former ‘myRevenge’ news editor 'KEEPCOOL', who had formed the 'Frankfurt Titans' [play.eslgaming.com] and asked me to join the team. I made the decision to concentrate on my studies. So I left the FPS scene and finished my high-school diploma.


League of Legends/Starcraft II - none
During my studies, I started to play 'League of Legends' and 'Starcraft II'. It was only now and then, I never had any intention of playing ESL or anything. I just enjoyed some games with my old mates from ‘PlayMateZ’, friends or my brother, who was the one introducing me to gaming in the first place. After a few years, both games made me tilt very badly, so I decided to leave and never return to these games.

'CS:GO' marked the beginning of my return to FPS gaming. I began playing just for fun, but my competitive spirit was soon ignited, and I strived to achieve something competitively, like I did in the old ‘Quake Live’ times. My greatest achievement yet is playing the regional state championship 2014, where I started for the rookies. [play.eslgaming.com] Sadly, I was only able to play a single game, which we lost, the others were wins by default. Looking at it a few years later, it’s a shame I haven’t had the opportunity to learn more from them.
That is my way up until the present, but I don’t intend to settle down. I started streaming in February this year and I am glad to have met some kind and uplifting people while doing so. I am striving to improve myself, and even though I am not going to be able to reach pro level soon, I’m looking forward to fill this section up.
