Huge fan of the original, I wasnt totally satisfied by FF7:Remake/Integrade.
However, this one... Wow ! Rebirth is amazing !
I really feel like I went on a huge adventure :D And it expands on the twists they introduced in Remake to the story which gives a refreshing experience for a long timer like me !
So sad we now have to wait for the last part :')


Some people complain about minigames but most of them are optional (but yeah, if you're a completionist, you'll have to go through them).

I played it for the story so I skipped everything optional, played on easy (so I never died nor had to retry something) and it still took 55 hours to end the game which is pretty solid considering that I enjoyed every minute !

To sum' up: worth it, I recommend :]

Very cool game inspired by Hades on the design and Vampire survivors on the gameplay (less epileptic, which is good ^^).
Not too hard, not too easy either. Having finished both Acts with all the chars, can't wait for the future Acts !

Great soundtrack, great visual style, great humor, great gameplay.... What can I say ? Buy it!

Note: it's hard at first, but you will beat it, trust me, you will ! Don't give up !

Absolute masterpiece !
The gameplay is incredibly good with a lot of variety (and with lots of references to other games/styles (such as the hack&slash part))

It took us 21 hours of CO-LLA-BO-RA-TION !

We enjoyed every part of it and never got bored !

This third one really felt like a 4-hours long movie (or simply a dream?), there are even less actions to do as a player than on the first two games.
But it doesn't really matter to me as soon as the story worth it... and it does :')

However, I was pretty sad to not discover the song "Great Wide Unknown" during the game but find out about it only afterwards while wandering on youtube... IMHO, it should've been integrated to the game, it's a gem!

This game is absolutely fantastic !

So much emotions and poetry... It's actually very rare to play a game taking place during War where you don't have to kill tons of people. Yet, war is hard, and so is the story.

The gameplay is brilliant, especially with the dog and the nurse, without being too hard and never being annoying :)

Finally, I loved having a lot of real pieces of history, I learnt a lot ! It's like playing a documentary without the boring parts ^^

Summary : Totally recommended, worth every penny, I'm gonna miss those characters <3

Usually, I'm not a rogue-like guy (I hate having to restart).
Usually, I very (very) rarely play a single-player game more than ~20h.

Well this game is nothing usual and got me for 80h and counting !
I even reached 100% achievements without getting bored/annoyed a single time.

I knew SuperGiant Games were amazing but this one.. Oh my! Story, characters, combat, songs(!!)... it checks all the boxes :o

I only regret having bought it during sales, it clearly deserves to be bought at full price !


(Ok, I wish there was a coop/multiplayer option but hey, can't have it all :p )

F*king Insane ! Had a blast ! We have a gem here :D

With more songs, mods (!!!) and an active modding/mapping community, we'll maybe finally have The BeatGames'killer xD
