This game is cute, has great music, and caters to those who tend to like sandbox-like games with a tinge of rpg-like dynamics.
The game isn't overly complex: the story is to the point, and you follow quests towards progressively difficult bosses and areas. In that, however, I believe the game thrives. It has made good use of the money I spent on it, and look forward to sinking more hours into it.

I'm not typically one for reviewing games, but Stardew Valley has quickly jumped towards being one of my most adored games- and for good reason.
While the game is simple, it does a good job with making the repetitive mechanics not feel monotonous. It also gives you options as to how you spend your time in the virtual world of Stardew- even going as far as designating holidays that the residents of the town attend each year. You feel involved in the town, which makes the experience feel a bit more personal.

On another note: thank you, developer, for creating a game that has been a great comfort to me in times where I didn't have anything else to hold onto. Sometimes, it's the simplest things that bring the most joy- and this game really shows that vibrantly.
