A really great remake by basically all measures.

Despite very repetitive missions and bare-bones mechanics making for a comparatively boring gameplay experience to recent AC games, it's compact design, dedication to the lore's themes, and a cast of actually interesting characters still make AC1 one of the best in the series.

Absolutely awesome DLC. Go in with a fully realised build, pick up those Scadutree fragments and don't forget to use your summons and you'll be alright.

Excellent game, really, but Sony's meddling has put annoying road blocks in the way of customers in regions where you can't get PSN which is really lame, plus the anti-cheat is pretty invasive.

Goofy quick fun

Raw and excellent survival horror. A must play for horror fans.

Disappointingly short considering how great the game is.
