So im at about 100 hours in with a Platinum I rating as Ryu. I skipped SF5 however I played a lot as a younger man on SF4 and SF2 Turbo was one of the first games i fell in love with as a small boy. I can say without a doubt this is the most "Beginner-friendly" and "Teach you as you go" fighting game I have ever played. Even if the World Tour mode is not for you, it DOES take the time to teach you all the little different mechanics of the game that you maybe would have not known and DEFINITELY would not have known if this is baby's first fighting game.

Im not one to go to "training" or "practice" modes. As I am very much a "Learn on the fly and adapt" gamer. However with the robust selections of scenarios the game gives you to practice to get better at. Combo-strings, whiff-punishes, cancel-combo-strings, parry timings. frame-by-frame advantage/disadvantage (this concept was beyond my capacity of understanding before this game) and many more!

The overall Theme and Feel of the game matches the crazy (They find a way to make "Fighting is fun and enjoyable and everyone knows how to do it" make sense in its own canon) plot. There is a hip-hop street-smarts vibe to the whole experience that really adds to the mood of everything that's going on.

Not only are you a fighter....but you're a COOL fighter, a HIP fighter. You have style and swag.

The Simulated casters are a nice touch, and when I first began playing, THAT was one of the most enjoyable experiences ive ever had playing a game. It made me, a 32 year old male feel like an MLG pro in the hotseat!

HOWEVER: after 100 hours of play, I can say that the announcers "Dialog choices" are very slim, they should bring them back in for some more voice lines so that it can be even more reactionary and "life-like" as possible.

Overall, I cant say I give this game anything less than a 8.5/10

8.5 and NOT a 10 because there are glaring problems with a couple of the fighters (JP is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and any Beam-abusers can kick rocks, I even tell myself to git gud to deal with them but you're all toxic) as well as a current game-breaking exploit.

And like i previously stated the caster touch is SO NICE however it could use 3x more lines from each caster in order to give it more life.
