Let the children freeze!

11 Bit Studios is at it again. If you've played This War of Mine, you know what these devs are up to. It's all about what you're ready to do to survive. The only reason I bought Frostpunk was because of This War of Mine, but enough of TWoM and on to Frostpunk.

Frostpunk is not your ordinary city builder, far from it. You start off in a hole with a huge steam generator. Then you must collect resources to ensure your people survive the great storm. The storm will surge at around -150 Celsius (Impossibly cold). All in all I found it somewhat easy to complete the stories. I had only 2 deaths, one being a child... (Not my fault he was clumsy and died in a coal mining accident). Pretty good game when it comes to down to it, but something was missing compared to TWoM. I just didn't feel bad when tough decisions were required (Send in 30 workers to their death.)

Pros:
Gameplay is good in general
Replayability (11 Bit delivered on their promise to add endless)

Cons:
Not in depth enough for 11 Bit Studios. (Possibly give us a connection to the people)
Lack of Laws in game
The cold is the only obstacle in the game, something else would be nice.


Good game, but I do feel that the price is a little high for the amount of gameplay you may get from it. Then again I've spent 60$ of the Division and played it 7 hours. It's a fun game in general and I got many kicks from sending children to the coal mines. 0_0
