this game has been out too long for it to receive no attention regarding optimization and some TLC.

2/10 I hate the fact that I went out of my way to buy this game with my hard earned money. "skies the limit" they say yet I never felt more limited in these skies. the plot is barely held together and is ultimately explained with a "Memento" "Shutter Island" or "Inception" tone. There was never a sense of urgency as to why you need to do what you need to do. the weapons offered are almost if not identical to the previous titles so theres no originality there. The game felt so incomplete and rushed. They left out incredible details that much the game so much more original. PRime example is that upon upgrading weapons in previous titles, you physically see the new upgrades and reflected how the weapons felt when you handled it and used it.

This title only gets 2 points for the Bioshock 1 and 2 mentions.

8/10 for sure. If you enjoyed the first max payne, then you're gonna be disappointed because there is no comic book styled perspective to the plot. Otherwise, the Bullet time, the array of weapons at your disposal makes for a good replay. my only complaint is that you can't pick your loadout... I mean if you complete a stage and have a sick desert eagle or AK-47, I'd love the option to continue foward with said weapons. OR even, why not have the ability to disrobe a heavily armoured enemy to better your chances? just sayin.

10/10 because its simple, yet requires strategy and has really cute plants and zombies :D

9.5/10 for a realistic and practical approach (sorta) to FPS that rewards communication and team work.
I'm a bit impatient to love it but the -.5 comes from the network consistencies during matches and how terrible the issues can get that will make difference between a loss and the W

6/10 because zombies. would not recommend for campaign or multiplayer.

5/10. only worth playing if its free and if you like endless waves with l4d2 characters in the mini game they offer. the campaign itself is garbage.

the campaign takes all of some 7 hours to finish on normal and maybe 16 hours on a harder difficulty. all in all it gets a 8/10 because of how fluid the mechanics and gameplay can get.

best replay value comes from a side mission where its just endless waves of enemies. the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up part about this really comes down to how you become this disabled idiot who can't handle a dog within a reason timeframe when a platoon of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are tossing slugs at you. No bueno.

love the direction its headed in and how it is its own GTA but with a fun sexual twist.
