Rocket League is the Middleman between racing and e-sports. It is filled with hours of fun and has extremely adaptable multiplayer. While it comes with a lot of free stuff to unlock, you can also buy DLC content packs to enhance your experience further.

Pros:
- GotY Edition saves $3 on DLC content
- Lots of free unlock able items, including cars, decals, tires, hats, flags, and boost trails.
- Adaptable Multiplayer. Not enough people have the game? No problem! I have had six people play on two computers. One had 4 way split screen and another had 2 way split screen. We then connected our controllers and joined a party, and with only 2 copies of the game we had 6 people play at once.
- Fairly matched Competitive games
- Trading is included as well as a trade-in-for-a-better-item program
- Very compatible with the Steam Controller. I know everyone (except me) hates the Steam controller. It is very well configured for this game; however, because the right paddle acts as the camera mode button, and the trackpad can be held at the edge to keep the camera rotating instead of swiping to infinity. I also love the rumble it produces much more than the Xbox controllers.

Cons:
- Poorly matched standard games. I often find rookies going up against veterans on normal games, making it pointless to try.
- Costly RL cars. Every extra car is 1.50 USD, a pretty steep price for just one car. I think 0.99 USD would work better.
- Can't play Competitive if you own the game via family sharing
- Competitive matchmaking better than standard, but could use improvement.
