This game is great, playing your favorite Marvel heroes, the mechanics, the visuals NetEase did a really great job with the core game. If you're going to play a few games here and there it might be enjoyable, but once you get good it's all down hill. This game is team based and even one awful player can crash your chances of winning if the other team doesn't have an equally awful player.

The problem, is the match making, it's awful and the longer the game is out the worse it is. Quick Play is full of smurfs and top gamers who go into the mode so they can dominate, competitive match making leads to an even worse experience. One team is usually completely stacked, the amount of games where one team steam rolls the other is insane (I am complaining even if I am on the team that is crushing the other). It's not fun to play a game where either you have no hope of winning, or you could unplug your keyboard and still win. The games that are evenly matched and you actually have a challenge are so few.

Before you think "this guy is a bot" - look at Engagement Optimized Match Making. It's terrible and it's led this game to be unplayable for me. It's not worth spending 2 hours gaming to hope for 1 or 2 good games. If they don't fix this I won't be touching it again.

Engagement Optimized Matchmaking (EOMM) is a system that prioritizes player retention and engagement by adjusting matchmaking to ensure players experience a mix of wins and losses, rather than solely focusing on skill-based matchmaking (SBMM). This is literally a predatory tactic, let's figure out how to get people addicted and play more. They want you to lose to chase the high of winning as long as possible before you feel like quitting. It's gross and it ain't for me.

If there was someone who rated your skills playing this game, they would rate my skills "not good" I still can stop playing this game.

This game reminds me of the old school turn based RPGs however you can clearly tell the program is way stronger and updated. I am constantly shocked at how smooth this game looks and feels. I am genuinely interested in the story, battles are engaging with the timed critical hits mechanic from Mario RPG. If you love the old school RPG I would strongly recommend this game.

Early Access Review
Obviously this game is highly anticipated and so many people will be playing it. After spending a lot of time in the early access I can say downloading this game will provide you with untold hours of exploration, discovery and replay ability. Unlike Divinity 2 just the first chapter alone was significantly different experiences depending on your character choices, background and luck. The build complexity of each role allows you to make many different choices and each character and choice truly feels unique in it's own. Whether you're interesting in deep and engaging story telling or building a character to cause mayhem this game will satisfy your urge to explore.

This game is very much worth a play through, really good story and dialogue with beautiful art. The nature of roguelike style of play encourages replay and you can easily get lost in this game for hours and hours. I love discovering all the hidden secrets rooms and abilities. The controls are super intuitive but I would encourage a controller.

This game is great and required some strategy and planning, good team work and communications. If you like intense fights with a bit more build up than constant action this game is worth trying.
