If you can look past the hook-nose propaganda and poor bullet drop mechanics, you'll love it.

The people that released as full this game should be ashamed. This game is absolutely incomplete.

If you haven't played it yet there's a little journey task list in the upper right with steps to complete. It is currently impossible to complete them without using mods and even then I still couldn't complete one of them. Absolutely maddening.

I really enjoyed human revolution but this game started off super slow. The story seemed extremely forced but after I persisted I really got into it. It has a system shock 2 level of awesome. There were a couple of times I though my game had frozen but I just needed to press the [spacebar]. Same button to skip dialogue.

If you want to skip the 7 intro videos add -benchmark to your startup command in steam.

The engine seems like it's an iteration of the same engine they've been using since 1998. You can take this as a good thing or a bad thing. Personally I'd prefer these amazing devs to use a more advanced piece of tech considering how amazing they do with the tools they have.

Long story short, by the end of this game I was clinging to the edge of my seat wondering where the story will go next. There is plenty of puzzle solving and headshots along the way but in my opinion none of that stuff is important if the presentation is bad. This one turned out to be super sweet. Thx dev ♥♥♥♥.

Was really surprised by how much fun this platformer is. Actually one of the best ever.

The same unskippable cutscenes over and over.
Very slow paced.
No challenge.
Characters talk like Charlie Brown adults from Japan.
No saves.
Not really a game.

Explanation of my personal opinion? Sure. The game looks nice, on a normal monitor. If you have ultra-wide too bad, so sad. Everyone looks like a short fat asian person. It's a very deep game. If you're into playing the same game for more than 100 hours you would probably like it. Replayability and mediocre stories aren't my idea of a good game. Maybe some people like to buy one game and play it for the rest of their lives but I haven't had a summer break in 40 years, so no. Before you get into the game you have to make a bunch of decisions about your character that you will likely have no idea how they will affect the game. The tutorial is complete utter garbage if you're using a keyboard and mouse as it only shows you what button to press on an xbox 360 controller(whatever that is). For a single player game the difficulty level is extremely high. This wouldn't be such an issue but the load times, even on a monster PC like mine, are absurd and the save points sparse. It's almost inline with a rogue-like. The engine is obviously not optimized for PC, just another sad fact of the base code being ported from console. Very surprised considering the amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fanboy hype.

If you like games that:
You need to read a walkthrough for character creation.
You can play more than once.
Drag on forever.
Have mediocre story.
Were poorly ported from console.
Don't show keybinds for a keyboard and mouse even though that's what it uses.
0.6 hours shows because I don't always have steam open, I've actually played for about 2.5 hours(Just long enough to give this steaming pile a chance).
Is extremely difficult.
Are single player but multiplayer also? No idea what the multiplayer aspect is.

Not worth the free. I'll stick to previous versions of quake. Typical example of how great franchises can be turned to dudu.

Simulator != Fun.

If you're into the comic or whatever go for it. Sat through 20 minutes of story to get to the first level where you fight 1500ish guys that all look exactly the same by pressing the same button over and over. Keyboard controls are bad mouse doesn't exist. Must have a 360 controller to make it bearable.

Seems like it would be fun if it wouldn't randomly stop working with my controller within the first 5 minutes of play.
