Phenomenal ambience, music, and mood, but gameplay is a giant pain. The game teaches you rules about the game, and then punishes you for following those gameplay rules in the next room. Inconsistent and frustrating. Buy Limbo or Inside instead.

it's a beautiful game that has good flow up until you get to the snow section, run into a gate, and realize you have to go alllll the way back and see a path that you didn't notice. and at that point, there's maybe 5 mins left to the story. Huge letdown. Not worth the price

Endlessly replayable, and doesn't feel as grindy as other roguelikes/roguelites

Good story, decent controls. Objectives and sidequests don't get overwhelming like in the Elder Scrolls series. Great graphics. Lots of replayability to get other endings.

It may no longer have support from the devs, but Hawken is one of the best free games on Steam right now. There is still a strong player base, so finding matches is not difficult.
