May 6th Edit: Sony has reversed the decision to force a PSN account on PC users. They actually listened, and all it took was 235 thousand negative reviews. Remember, do not let Sony or any company trifle with your purchased products, even for a moment. They will take a county mile if given an inch. Always take them to task.

"It's always said it requires one!" Doesn't matter, its still awful to enforce it at this point, go cash your Sony cheques somewhere else.
