It was a very insightful experience.

Still in alpha after 10 years.

You know the game is good when you smile like a psychopath in front of your monitor.

-The graphics are good, but you are not really playing this game for sightseeing anyway.
-The sound and music are great. The shotgun sounds still echo in my ears and Horizon hail Mary is the new BFG division for me.
-I can't put gameplay into words. You'll have to play it yourself in order to experience the peak violence our monkey brain desires. (There is a free demo.)
-The story is alright and kind of short, but having a story for a game like this is an extra, IMO. There are many horde and survival maps to choose from.
-Difficulty ranges from power fantasy to glass cannon. It heavily depends on how skilled you are with boomer shooters.

I recommend it.

I like it but in a very wrong and nostalgic way. You should't play it in ironman or resistance mode because that will make the game way too unfair and tedious. ymmv.

- Voice acting for your characters terrible most of the time
- There is a "cringe" aspect how your characters act and speak
- Even if your team consist of professionals killers, they are as moral as kindergarten children.

- You own an AI that has access to a database of all the people in London yet still you have to walk around to find specific people you are looking for.

This is another mod it until it break game...story generator...war crime simulator....

Anyway, things you can do in this game is almost limitless. It's a game for everyone to jump in and have fun, challenge yourself or do unethical thing that other games limit you to do. You are free to do anything...

This game uses your imagination a lot. I mean the graphics are nothing to look at but they made it so you can visualise it with your imagination. When one of your pawns jaw shot off by a stray bullet the game makes you visualise that terrible image in your head immediately thanks to the well written info in every item, condition and logs.

I highly recommend it.
