60 FPS and higher graphics quality over Switch is a pretty big deal and saves me from migraines. Just like, at the very least, CROSS SAVE PLEASE!! I would like to play with my Switch friends without having to have two entirely separate accounts. It took me a full day to rush through base Rise again to get to Sunbreak.

This game is a new mix of solid mechanics in a beautiful storybook format. The randomly generated heroes you begin with will become unique and meaningful to you as you play through multiple campaigns and take advantage of the legacy system. If fantasy trpg with a procedurally generated spin sounds like your thing, you will like this game.

It took me about 70 hours to finish the main story (not the DLCs yet). It's a pretty decent PC port, too, I love the framerate options. Definitely worth the money!

Metroidvania and procgen are two of my favorite things, and this game puts them together in a way most games who claim to be "metroidvania" just can't.
The controls are clean and responsive, and the mechanics are simple, intuitive. Unlocking new items is entertaining and will keep you busy for quite a while, and as of the latest update, the difficulty scales. With some luck from the RNGods, you can adjust your build to how you'd like to play. Updates are released regularly, and it's clear that the developers really care about their game. Did I mention it just feels great to play? Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys this kind of game.
