This game is absolutely amazing man, it's just such a relaxing environment while also being fun and chaotic at times too. You don't need to worry about what you're doing, literally do whatever you want. On the surface you might just think all you do is farm (which is what I thought ignorantly for a while) but it is so much more than that.

Stardew Valley is the perfect cure for when you're feeling down, and it is also the perfect way to bond closer with others as well. A thing about this game I also respect is how it actually feels fun to play singleplayer. Rarely any games where you progress in a world or of something, not meaning to compare this game to Minecraft or Terraria but for example those games feel impossible to play by yourself. Your only goal is to just get the better items, and for what? yourself?

Maybe I'm just a bit different, but I think for Stardew it feels different because of the connection you end up making with the villagers. You can actually get closer relationship wise with them and it overall feels like you're in a community so I don't get the sense of loneliness playing by myself.

Overall, the fact this game is made entirely by one person is what has sold me completely to have this as my favourite game. I already respected it for what the game is itself but the fact this was all made by one mans passion is absolutely incredible to me. This game is a solid 5 stars.
