A bit dated in its technical limitations and mechanics, but overall still a game worth playing, with interesting and memorable moments.

What I mean with technical limitations, the resolution of the game is rather low, you can fullscreen it but it still remains with those old RPGMaker textures and limitations. You don't even have a proper menu for settings to adjust audio volume, text speed, etc.

But despite all the limitations, I found myself genuinely enjoying the story, while a few areas were a bit confusing (Looking at the mazes, especially the deep/dark sections), and a few portions were a bit too grindy, I still enjoyed the combat and gear system. It allows the flexibility of choosing between playstyles in terms of weapon and magic choice, with a few viable playstyles.

The game is also very heavy on certain patch related content, in combat and outside of it. Usually losing does not mean game over, just that our heroine has a different experience, and sometimes even branching mission trees, where something is done via a different way/route. A few bosses have 2 or 3 ways of dealing with, same with situations.

There is probably also replay value if you want to do a different playstyle and see other routes, but I found myself sometimes reloading old saves to skip the parts around it to experience them. There is also a gallery unlock after beating the story.

So, while it probably doesn't get into my top tier list, I would still recommend playing Shera.

One of my favourite games. I already played it outside of steam, and bought it here again to support the developer. Decent story, interesting world, lots of gameplay and very varied scenes. Shimobashira Workshop already released a few good games before this one, Ambrosia especially, and Enishia afterwards, which are both good games as well. But my favourite is still Celesphonia just because it feels like it has the most content, longer story, and overall more rounded gameplay. I also personally prefer the magical girl theme over the nun style in the other game but they are still good games. Patch is absolutely recommended, without it the world wouldn't feel as 'realistic'. Be nice to Amane, as some of the dark scenes can be really dark on a loss, but just don't lose and there is also a lot of consensual content. :)

Gameplay is the typical RPGMaker style, but you can pick and choose your actual fight style. Can be melee, any elemental magic like fire/ice/electric/dark etc, there are utility buff or debuff spells, you can upgrade your equipment in different ways like glass cannon build, tank build with regen, or even a seduction build.

Difficulty can be selected and has a rather strong impact on the gameplay, on the easier difficulties you can mostly chill, on the harder ones you actually have to plan your build, prepare utility and healing items, have an upgrade path etc. Even the items can be either bought, built with monster parts, or other special parts. This also makes for fun replayvalue and just going a different fight style. One thing I also really enjoy, you can activate auto defeat of weaker opponents if your character is a lot stronger in comparison, making revisitting older areas for some missed materials a lot nicer.

If you somehow get a gameover, there is usually a way to automatically get reset to the last part before the gameover to then prevent it, but gameovers are rare and usually Amane just has some....experience and then somehow escapes. Her personality is also affected by these experiences, though you can still say no to certain 'level ups' in that regard, but a lot of the content is gated behind her becoming more experienced or more corrupted. Corruption is a different kind of magical thing. There is also a 'domination' level of the enemy over the city, this could technically be seen as a time limit, but it's very easy to reduce with ingame items, upgrades, or just doing a mission. Once you've completed the main quest it also disappears, and then you still have more after content. Lots of funny references and memes included as well, so it's entertaining throughout. I hope the developers make a sequel or similar style.

Gameplay Length: Easily 50 hours+, you can probably complete the main story in 20-30 hours if you rush it, but there is so much side content...

Not necessary at all DLC, not pay to win. I just bought it to support the devs after the sony incedent, since PSN is now optional and I don't have to use it I am happy. :)

Golden super citizen title, warbond that you can unlock with ingame means, though it takes a bit of time. On the ship the minigame console which is fun but also not needed.

Great fun game, but lately too much focus on more releases instead of bug fixing, had a lot of patches that were unplayable due to crashing.

Now forced to use a playstation account from sony, a company that had been hacked many times lately with so many data breaches and personal information being leaked? No thanks. I hope this step gets taken back, because I don't want this.

Update: Sony took back the change and PSN account is no longer required, so I can recommend this game again. Very nice!

Surprisingly fun game for a chill time, can recommend. Music is decent, gameplay engaging and it's free.

Finally, a game that gets me addicted to it again like during the childhood years. Just creating the character took an hour, and then easily able to play long session again. If you enjoy RPGs this game is pretty much a must play.

So many choices, so many options. Turn based games are probably not for everyone but if you enjoy that sort of this, this is THE game to play. A must for anyone that enjoys D&D or Pathfinder, feels a bit like the game is a dungeon master for you and you're having a really good session.

I was drawn to the game by the elf waifu art, and I wasn't disappointed. Lots of elf waifus to satisfy my weird elf fetish desires. Of course it also has a few foxgirl waifus, and quite a bunch of properly sized fairies, which are essentially just elves with wings. But that's beside the point, the game has waifus for everyone, dragon waifus, vampire waifus, maid waifus.... the list is long.

In short: A very good and fun card game, where a single mistake can make you lose the game, with nice art, okay sound and a story that is so cliched that well...it essentially combines all tropes possible.

I play with the Japanese audio and English subtitles, you can very easily modify that by setting the game to Japanese, copying the voice folder to a different one, then setting it back to English and replacing the English voice files wtih the Japanese ones.

This also works for a certain doube D sorceress if you want her titties to be uncensored by the way.

Would recommend this game.

Space: the final frontier. These are the Voyages of the Waifu empire. Its 500 year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, and to convert them all to waifuism.

Early Access Review
A beautiful sailing game, based on the unity engine.

I've played this game in the closed early access for some time now, and it's finally out on Steam.

What you can expect from this game? A realistic sailing simulator, with pretty ships during the age of sail, tons of fun playing multiplayer. It's really exciting to be in a big naval battle, line formation, giving the ships of the line their name, just firing upon the other fleet, watching the smoke build up more and more as the battle goes on. The sounds of the cannons echoing over the ocean, and then the cracking and splintering of wood as the cannons impact the hull of the ship, with little pieces flying all over and landing in the water.

Apart from that, there is also the open world, which allows trading, exploring, sinking pirates, the usual stuff one would expect from a naval open world game. The time is sped up in the open world, but the travelling time is somewhat realistic, with the carribean area being very detailed in terms of islands and nations.

Would I recommend this game? Definitely, it's not finished yet, early access and all, there are still a lot of missing features, especially in regards to the open world, but the game already brought me so much delight, that I definitely got my money's worth.

One of the best "Paint the world in your colour!" simulators there is! Even though some things got removed from EU3, overall EU4 is definitely the better game, many improvements in interfce, networking, and general small stuff. Many more historic options and choices and customization, I highly recommend getting the gameplay dlcs when they are on sale, the graphical stuff isn't really important, but if you have the extra money to support paradox and this game, go for it.

This game is mainly for people who like deep strategic games, if you've ever played and love RISK in your youth, this game will be for you. Also you'll learn a lot about history and "What if" scenarios in world history.

10/10, would conquer world with Prussia again.
