Hades but sequel!

For anyone worried they might be getting a game feeling like Hades DLC, you can rest assured. The whole game feels like its own package (even this early into early access) set in the same universe as the first game. All of the weapons, enemies, environments, music, and more feel unique with some including callbacks to the first game.

Will likely pour at least a hundred hours between now and the v1.0 release of the game.
If you're a fan of roguelites, this is an absolute must-have experience. It has amazing world-building, beautiful art and music, and hot people. Buy it.
If you're patient, wait for the v1.0 release, so you can experience the game and lore with the satisfaction of a true-story ending and actually get the full refined experience without bugs, placeholder art, etc. Buy it.

So basically, buy it.

I don't often leave a review for indie games or otherwise, and it's certainly been quite a while since I've written a review for any game.

To keep it simple, I believe this game is a solid 8/10.

It's beautiful in its unique art style. Each character is absolutely bursting with personality in their expressions, movements, and actions. The story of the game was somewhat simple, but in a simple and charming way with a twist here and there. The difficulty of the game was reasonable, and the gameplay was surprisingly deep for a potion making game.

I really wanted to rate this a full 9-10/10, but the my main gripe after binging this beautiful game for 16 hours over 2 days was that there wasn't a post-game. I deeply feel that this game should have some form of a endless mode or some form of new game+, and I want it badly enough that I feel it took away from my excitement from finishing the game.

TLDR: My main disappointment with the game was that I finished the game too fast because I enjoyed it too much. As far as disappointments, that's a win.

Shut up and buy it (on sale).

Like 3 different times...I beat the game. Realized Steam was on offline mode. Restarted. LOST. ALL. OF. MY. DATA. AGAIN. FUUUUUUUUUU-
