The game won't even launch for me. Will review when it can actually work.

I usually don't do many reviews but this game really deserves a proper one. I have already beaten it on PS4 so I probably wont have much playtime on pc an will update once I get a sense of what improvements come with the pc version vs ps4.

GAMEPLAY:
Everyone always says how tired they are of game clones and repetitive titles and want something new, this is as close as you can get to a completely brand new genre. You already know what you are getting when you look at gameplay, yes, it is a "walking simulator". This does not mean it is easy or boring. In most open world games getting from A to B is fun for the first couple hours and slowly becomes a chore as you try to get to the next mission. In this game getting from A to B IS the mission, and I loved every second of it. Figuring out how you're going to get over a steep cliff or through a BT infested zone requires thought and effort. You won't be able to hit forward and walk with no issue, you're going to have to stay focused. The addition of players building up the world with you is done in such a unique way too. The closest example is Dark Souls, leaving messages to help each other, but in this you are truly helping thousands of people simply by leaving a ladder in place or making a shelter. It's crazy how you will never actually see another player but you will feel much more connected to people than any other game I've ever played. The landscapes are incredible. The physics are incredible. The soundtrack, and how they use it, is incredible. The main thing here is if you look at gameplay and think "This is boring" it will probably be boring for you, and that's fine. It isn't for everyone, but you if you make something everyone will like, no one will truly love it.
STORY:
This is my second Kojima game. The first was MGS:V, and like most people who started with that (and tried to understand the rest of the story before) it was pretty damn confusing. The story here feels much more natural. It can be strange but this is a strange world. You will form genuine connections with the characters, especially BB, and become invested in the story. Kojima had something in mind when making this and there are messages that can be pulled back to our world. The product placement does feel funny and might pull you out a little bit but I didn't really mind it that much.

Overall this is a solid 9/10 for me. It isn't for everyone, the story can be weird sometimes, and getting somewhere can be frustrating (in a difficulty way, not an unfair way). These are very light complaints compared to everything else being so solid. Even if you hate the idea of this game, or Kojima, you should try and respect that someone is actually doing something different in an industry filled with loot boxes and gambling mechanics.

Pretty blown away by this game. Runs smooth on the Oculus. A must if you have VR.

This game is amazing.

PROS:
-Any fan of the Arkham series will be more then satisfied with the games combat/stealth system (Same, if not smoother, fighting except instead of knocking thugs out youre beheading orcs)
-I have yet to encounter any glitches or bugs
-The nemesis system (the chain of command for saurons army) motivates you to gain intel to learn their strengths and weaknesses. It will also make you think twice about taking on 40+ enemies at once, because if you die whoever kills you will get moved up in the ranks, and most will power up or get promoted
-Movement around the map is quick, you wont find yourself running for ten minutes trying to get to the next mission. Combine that with the ablility to scale every building and almost every cliff and you will be getting to your destination in no time
CONS:
-If any, the story is a LITTLE weak. Only a little bit. Also, some more familiar faces from the LOTR series would have been nice. That's it though!

This game is worth your time and money.
