Together with reaching 1000 hours, i decided to write a review, as i personally base a lot of my buying decisions on reviews. As with anything in life, you can't get good without bad. The game has been getting better and more beautiful in both gameplay and looks since the day it launched. Not every update is perfect, most heroes get over buffed or over nerfed and almost nothing is ever perfect, but with a game like this it is also extremely hard to achieve perfection. This game enables you to put in so much effort, and actually gives you something in return. Getting better in For Honor takes so much time and thinking about mistakes, playing even with good friends you love and trust requires extreme focous on communication, and the intricacies of the game seem to never end. Teaching new players, even if i am not very good at teaching, is something I enjoy so much simply, because i want more people to experience this game. This is one of the games that i will always remember, probably play until the Servers get shut off in, hopefully, a long time. I am so thankful for my friends to have brought me into this mess. There are so many times that this game brings me to the edge, feeling Anger and Disappointment of immense intensity, but as i learn the game I also learn to accept and stay calm, and it pays off. This game is all about playing the heroes you have the most fun with, make them the most beautiful you can, and then combine those aspects into the pinackle of destruction, to walk over the corpses of the opponents you have beat. May they be very skilled, spamming pieces of ♥♥♥♥ or simply toxic, you adapt and destroy, to later bask in the feeling that an enemy ragequit because you 100-0 ganked with a friend, or completely destroyed him by making the correct read on everything he did. If i had one complain, it would be that i want more fashion in this game. I want more Armor, more Weapons, more options to customize wear and tear on said weapons and armor, choose places for ornaments, embossings, variable sized embossings, more options for color patterns and so on. I think a lot of these things would be very easy, and i am already grateful for all the new materials releasing, and looking forward to all the new ones.
All in all, this game is, for me, on the same level as games like Minecraft. I truly doubt i will forget the experience should it end sometime, and until then, i can enjoy discovering every aspect of the game.
