I can safely say I adore this game even with its obvious issues, the gameplay is great and feels fluid, the changes that have been made to the weapons I play have all been super enjoyable. The open world feels fine, better than the guiding lands in world, but still feels like it needs more to it. The story was fine granted I did have a couple issues with how it was presented. Now, I personally have not had any major technical or performance issues outside of some of the textures looking like hot garbage. I'm running Ryzen 7 7800X3D and GeForce RTX 370TI and have only had noticable drops during super intense moments and when I try to stream the game, but even then it has not been anything gamebreaking or debilitating. With all of that said there's still a lot that can be talked about.

Starting off with negatives
Obvious Optimization Issues
- Poor Textures regardless of settings even on decent hardware
- Incredibly high resource demands causing low framerates and stuttering for people among many other issues
Person Gripes
- While the story is fine I found a handful of moments of cutscenes and dialogue to drag on way too long
- Low rank felt like it lasted super long and is obviously unredibly low on the difficulty scale
- UI could use some adjustments like being able to permanently have the duration of food and consumables have the duration remaining showing
- Overall Felt a little short to finish the non grinding portion of the game, I have drastically overplayed this game in a short amount of time though
- I disagree with 70 dollar start price points for games and the DLC monetization is crappy here

And the Positives
Gameplay
- Weapons feel amazing with the changes and added movesets
- Difficulty starts to get to where it should be in High Rank, the game feeling easier may just come down to how long I've played Monster Hunter games
- Food and Consumables lasting for time instead of a per quest duration is super comfy and reduces how much I feel like I need to farm them
Technical stuff
- Game saves and loads super fast for me, it could just be me being on new and better hardware though from when I played Worlds and Rise
- Options menu for the game are incredible and they try to show you what is really getting hit perfomance wise with settings, even if the mark isn't perfectly hit on it

Uncertain Aspects
- I'm not fully sold on going back to RNG Decoration farming and the RNG nature of the Artian Weapon crafting, even with how much I've been playing I've mostly stuck to things like medals and some playing with friends
- I've never been one to actually finish crown farming but it seems like with the investigation system in Wilds that it may be more reasonable and I may attempt to grind it out, time will have to tell on this one

Obviously with how early this is into the games life and there having been no Title Updates released yet I'm sure a decent chunk of this will changed over time even if I don't get around to updating this review.

Yup people can AFK and Rage quit and crash your game and you cant do anything about it, the torch timer doesn't even work right... Until this is fixed honestly just avoid playing with the matchmaking.
