I have over 1000hrs in this game, of course i'm going to say i like the gameplay!
But I have to hand it to WG, I had previously posed a review that criticised them for very aggressive and deceptive marketing tactics with their loot boxes. While the game still contains loot boxes and premium time and battle passes aplenty, they've turned a bit of a corner and made the odds clear. Yes it's still a heavily monetised free to play game but you dont have to spend anything to play and win. Even now the free ships are generally pretty equivalent to any of the premium ones.
