This game is deep, really deep. It surprised me so many times already, with interesting skill tree choices, active skill gems that I hadn't expected at all. It looks ridiculously good for a free game.
On the negative side, I can only mention the somewhat pushy (but NOT pay-to-win!!) monetization.

Strongly recommended for lovers of Diablo and similar games.

Last patch added Denuvo anti-cheat and made even the singleplayer campaign practically unplayable. This game was the best thing I'd ever played. Now I recommend waiting until they fix this heap of ♥♥♥♥ before buying. NOT RECOMMENDED UNTIL FIXED!

They've announced the patch. This is a great game with excellent people behind it. Buy it!

This game was amazing in beta, and its getting better every damn patch. From humble beginnings cutting down trees and mining by hand, to fully automated ALL-THE-THINGS. It will cost you though, once you catch the bug stopping to sleep, eat or work might not occur to you anymore ;)

Absolutely amazing game. Finished it twice now, and itching to start again.

Absolutely awesome. Gameplay that keeps you playing. Graphics that satisfy without trying to blow your socks off. Intuitive controls, helping you explore, mine, build and kill. I'd recommend Starbound to anyone that found minecraft (for example) lacking in action. Procedural planets, dungeons, encounters and many more.
