morrowind is a fantastic game that holds up well against previous games in the elder scrolls series such as skyrim and oblivion.

the combat feels fluid and the gunplay is superb. i was however very disapointed that bethesda removed the ray gun and the wunderwaffe which made skyrim such an excellent title. despite this, i had a lot of fun and the levelling has definitely improved over its counterparts,

the story is a bit bland. i lost a lot of interest once i got to the part where ben shapiro's myspace got hacked and the protagonist has to bring the perpetrator to justice. thankfully, the game offers some superb side quests that keep the game interesting.

the soundtrack for morrowind is absolutely stellar. jeremy soule took a sharp turn from the epic sounds of skyrim to a much more experimental and modernised collection of tracks. while morrowind features a little too much k-pop for my taste, there are some excellent techno bangers that would sound great in the berghain.

i would recommend this game. however, the graphics have been seriously downgraded since skyrim. the game looks worse than oblivion even. what the heck bethesda?
