Before the review I want to say that I know that the game is in a REALLY heavy early access, that's why I will give this game a positive review, even though at the same time I wouldn't actually do that. I will also provide a simple fix of the problem if I have anything to say.
The review was made literally after minutes of gameplay and probably will be changed if I noticed a fix of any mentioned problems (aka im a blind idiot) or opposite - found something else to say.

- Design stuff -
First of all I want to say that I simply don't like how the interface looks like - I know they wanted to make it cute and simplistic, but in my opinion the whole interface is just too big - and (right now at least) you can't change the interface scale.
At the same time hand placement feels kinda.. out of place. It blocks nearly 30% of the screen and it simply distracts more than everything else, ESPECIALLY while sprinting. The fix is simple enough - do hand placement setting somewhere.
WHY SOME ANIMATIONS ARE 60FPS WHEN YOU ALLOW MORE THAN THAT - The slime movement is either 30 or 60, I have no idea, but it just feels so scuffed to look at when the whole game runs at the doubled of the fps.
I love the atmosphere of some locations though, but I feel like sometimes it just too much of the shaders. All these glares and stuff makes the picture opposite to something they actually wanted to show off.

- Gameplay -
I already love idea that upgrades such as bigger energy bar now costs more than just a money - you also have to use several items, I like this idea. It also better introduces to the whole laboratory system which is always nice.
Some locations already feel kinda out of place as well - some secrets are located literally in the middle of the location without any reasons, and then there are other locations which are completely useless and empty.

- Optimization? -
I can't really say about this because this is the early access, but gonna review how it feels like right now - i5 11400F, 3060ti, the game plays at around 120fps on a MEDIUM settings and drops till 50 in some seconds - even though this is the early access it just feels extremely uncomfortable to play so I hope the devs are going to work about it.

Trust me, I really want to love this game. I just feel like right now it is not worth buying it. If you want to support the devs - go on, I will support them along the way as well, but if you want to get some gameplay - I feel like right now the game is too incomplete, which is again, fair enough, considering this is all an early access. The potential of the game itself is great - I just hope they are going to turn this game into something amazing.
