This game offers a very unique experience. Stunning visuals and audio, cinematic cutscenes and illustrated interludes between chapters add up to one-of-a-kind art masterpiece, which also happens to be a very enjoyable game with meaningful character progression, enjoyable exploration and complex and difficult fights (altough a bit infuriating at times - more about that in a sec).

As of the time of writing this review - which is just after finishing the first playtrough and starting NG+, I have only one complaint: I was absolutely infuriated when the game punished my mistakes during boss fights not only with me losing hp / ground (as in from software games), but also with very long "execution" animations.

Other than that - the only game I bought for full price in the past few years and it was definitely worth it.

I'm really glad I bought & played the remastered version of this classic. Don't get me wrong - I would prefer to see it being a remaster of our dreams and not just a pumped up version of the original, but the old one aged so poorly that I couldn't force myself to play it through. (side note: it also refused to even work on my pc)

This is just the original game with much better graphics - and that was more than enough to keep me engaged & glued to my monitor and steam deck.

If it's on another -50% and you loved the original GTAs - get it.

I was very hesitant to give this one a try after reading so many negative reviews but once it came out on Steam, I decided to give it a go.

My very first impression was: I like the original more! But very soon after I realized, that it has one very nice advantage - it plays great on a Steam deck and this got me to stay.

Don't know when it happened but I reached 100% completion of the game and I can say, that this is still Vice City - as it was 20 years ago, just with slightly weider character models and significantly better lightning.

I didn't notice a lot of bugs but I just found the enemy drivers AI to be overly aggressive. This was really irritating in missions like Death Row where you need to "jump start" to get away from enemies but here they are going at 100% speed and kamikaze. On the other hand - in Vice City Racer races - the enemies because of their aggressiveness just crashed on the first intersections and the races were... just driving along empty roads.

Other than that - if you loved the original, you will most likely also enjoy reviving memories with this edition - and if you own a Steam Deck - you will say it's a great thing that it came out.

What a game this was... Took me 2 years and 5 attempts to finally get into it but once it clicked - It didn't want to let me go until I was finished.

Awesome immersive medieval RPG, definitely one of the best games of the past few years

I don't know why I bought it but def. not regretting it. Doom is a very well thought action packed shooter than is enjoyable even if you're not a demon/horror fan.

Review in 2024, after 100% with DLC:
I just completed Cyberpunk again, this time with Phantom Liberty and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what a game this was. There are just memories of the problems from the launch and now the gameplay/story/setting is pure gold.

Spent almost 100 hours over the course of past months maxing out every activity there was to do and I can now truly say this is THE GAME.

Created a blade in my steam library: Play again in 2030, and looking forward to that time now.
A must play.

Original review in 2021:
Despite awful performance and not being the "promised" game - it's still very entertaining.

Despite being short, this is certainly one of the best CoD games. It aged really well and the non-remastered campaign still is very fun to play. Recommended

CoD 2 has less depth than CoD 1 and is more of a rambo-like shooter. Nonetheless this game aged very well and is still fun to play.
