This game is -very- self-aware and humorous as a result, the actual gameplay mechanics are themselves very well done and feel like more than just a half-assed insert. This is more than a smut game, it's comedy gold (made all the more so if you're at all up to date with current events, it's topical in the best ways.) fan service (who doesn't like big tiddied alien gfs?) and well polished combat. Even the voice acting is top notch.

As a kickstarter backer, I can safely say it was money well spent.
