TLDR Too much God of War and not enough Castlevania. A bad god of war with a cool castlevania story...They removed all exploration which sucks because the world itself is cool, removed all rpg elements...yes xp is still there but it's just to unlock more combo options and a couple variations of skills that are locked behind story progress for some stupid reason. The magic system is a lame gimmick of just light and dark. Parry invalidates most attacks minus the forgotten ones and a few with the light that appears.

So they actually improved everything from the first game. Good job. Now if only there could be an option to avoid getting matched with people on wifi.
