Great game. Truly enjoyed everything.

Until I logged in and I seem to have lost about seven years.

Seven.

In this game, that was a lot of maneuvering Stephan and Gloria and the parents. I literally lost a plotline that took three or more hours to construct and digest.

And now..... back to an age that was seven years younger.

I am going to delete this garbage and am very disappointed.

This was incredible until this point.

Adapt or die.

This game is masterfully written. Do you adhere to an ancient moral code and risk losing everything or do you embrace the tools of the enemy and take your home back?

Jin, "I promised my uncle I'd never break our code."
Yuna, "Then bend it. To save my family... And what's left of yours."

Our character is facing choices that affect the entire island of Tsushima and possibly the mainland of Japan. If he retains his honor, the ethics that would be established as Bushido - five hundred years later, he faces death and the likely ending of Mongol overrun. If he chooses to fight his enemy with their own guerilla and terror tactics - he becomes a toxic element to those that trust him.

Our character wrestles with his decisions. He aligns himself with people that are outcasts and thieves. He second-guesses the lords and leaders of mighty clans. He finds himself, increasingly, in shadows and alone.

This game is loaded with gray characters. We meet allies that are not all they seem. We meet a wise sensei with a bow that may be an abusive teacher. We meet murderers that may be saviors. We meet a thief that is utterly devoted to saving your land. The only black and white are the powers that be and unfortunately, you are most certainly running afoul of everything they believe.

Color is a massive part of your journey. Every armor is a canvas awaiting dyes. White, we are told, is the color of death. There are dyes that show our bravado - shockingly vibrant and eye catching. There are the colors of the creeping shadow - black and invisible.

The combat is adaptable. Are you a whirling firestorm that rains hell on enemies? Are you a ghost in the bush that frightens the enemies away from their strongholds? Do you retain samurai honor and walk through the front gate and ask the Mongols to challenge you?

The landscape of Tsushima is pure poetry. Every paused screen is a painting. Every ride through the storm is haunting. Every walk in the snowy fields is enchanting. We begin the game in a golden land that is dreamy and fertile. We are like a toddler witnessing the glory of life. By the third act, the land is blanketed in a thick layer of snow. Quiet and white. The snow is a welcome retreat, but it is also the color of death. The third act is us literally walking into a land of death.

The journey is full of heartbreak and loss. You will lose great friends and robust warrior allies. You will make terrible choices.

Adapt or die.

I hate Golf. Definitely my least favorite solitaire game. Not nearly as fun Freecell, Yukon, or Beleaguered Castle.

But this looked fun. I took a chance. Oh no... it's Golf.

OK. I will still give it a shot because I like the idea. Hand after hand I turn unusable cards. Game after game. The RNG is bleak. The game demands you have unplayable cards even if you have six decks. I eagerly wait for a single card I can use as the enemy just slams damage on me. It is not fun at all.

Great idea. Poor execution.

It has cute graphics. But it is very hard to get into.

The computer likes to cheat at cards. And you die a lot.

I am not having fun. But I am going to keep going.

Upon the first launch, this game installs something from the Tencent/ Epic Games Store.

So heads up.
