I just don't know what was being tried with this game. Even the controls in DS1 (prepare to die edition) is a lot better than this game. It must be that the developers have agreed upon making the computer controls so terrible so that the people would go buy a controller.

I mean pressing shift + left click to interact wtf?

Save your money, go buy DS remastered or DS3.

I can sum this game up as:

Retarded Climbing Simulator
Tedious Puzzle Simulator
Get 3 Things From Somewhere Simulator
Open Doors Simulator
Solve Long and Unnecessary Puzzles Simulator

I mean why can't you just walk past through some areas,why can't the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ objective can be completed by gathering 1 item? Most of your time in this game is either spent going to somewhere with your horse, slowly running through huge levels, climbing, climbing (did I mention climbing?), every single door is locked you have to get a key, some ball or other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to open it EVERY SINGLE TIME. A bit of puzzle solving is nice but I would play Portal 1 or Portal 2 if I wanted to solve puzzles to progress through story.
Combat feels meh I cant say either it's good or bad, enemies are one dimensional there is no variety of tactics while approaching them. The combat tactic can be summed up as follows, if it is small dodge once, if it is large dodge a bunch of times then mash various combos till finish.
Overall this is a tedious puzzle game(not hard puzzles at all). It's cancerous to play and do not bother wasting your time on this.

Im the type of person who likes a bit of story within a rpg and also expect it to be delivered with fluidity and action.

Coming from Witcher 2 a game in which the first few a hours is 5 times multiple of the most tense moments in Witcher 3 I can say that I was a bit turned off.
Not to mention that the soundtrack is crap when compared to the 2nd game, even the menu music gave you chills.

So why the positive review? The game is good in it's own ways but its a step down when compared to 2nd...

Even the first few hours in the game was epic...

Controls and combat is clunky though.

I stayed at a place in which porn sites were blocked. This helped me a lot

Great short game

It's a childhood classic.

They have fixed the optimization. Now the game run smoothly. However there are game breaking bugs.

Imagine in a fps shooter your clip bugs out and magically your entire clip is deleted and you have an empty mag squeezing an empty rifle.


Edit: Was buggy at the start and stuttered like hell, still it stutters I regret buying this game full price and expecting it to be something close to the first insurgency game. Save your money, go buy squad or something else.

It is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Left 4 Dead clone with better animations and graphics. Thats all.
