I bought this because it was in a bundle with Tower Wizard and it seemed kinda neat. I like the look and feel of the game but my main complaint is some of the interactions become hard to meaningfully evaluate once you get near the endgame and stuff is kind of busy.

It was fun for about half the time I played it then it was a lot of "come on, why can't I get the last two percent of this bar to fill up??" when trying to hit the highest tiers required to complete the game. I'm not sure if I enjoyed it enough to keep playing and get all the achievements.

A small game with nice graphics and a pretty good ui. Good for fans of incremental "number go up" games.

This is what they're talking about when someone says "addictive gameplay". It's good the developer decided not to license this to casinos.

I feel like I know these people a hundred times better than characters I've spent 10x as much time with in supposed story-driven RPGs. I only wish I had played it back when I first bought it so I remembered the original game's story a bit better!

A visually interesting experience, even if it only lasts a couple hours.

Be prepared for technical issues though, the port from PS3 is a bit weird. I had to manually change from a completely inappropriate resolution that didn't match the shape of my monitor or the shape the game actually even functioned properly in.

A shooter that was something a little different. Really impressive technical abilities for the era, and a use of story and music that wasn't common at all when this game originally came out. (Played before Steam tracked playtime)

Nice little self-contained story.

Had some weird issues running at 4k resolution on a 4080 Super - huge framerate hitching - until I turned the anti-aliasing down one notch and the render scale from 133% to 100%.

Starts out promising with intriguing graphics, then drags to a halt extremely quickly with inflating prices and machines that require your constant attention. There's way more content in the game than I've seen (just based on the screenshots in the store) but I don't know if I care enough to get to it.

Edit after a few patches: they've adjusted balancing considerably to make it less of a drag, but it's still a drag. You get to plateaus where you know what to do but all you can do is wait out what seems like hours of refilling the same buildings over and over again because expanding is too expensive. It's something I've relegated to playing extremely slowly on my second monitor and I won't be revisiting it once I finish my first playthrough, if I even get that far.

Nice music that's way too overbearing for a puzzle game. Tutorial text interface is a ♥♥♥♥ to the player for no good reason. Really made me not interested in progressing.
