You gotta play the first two games before this one. It's got it's moments but also has some really boring ones.

Some boss fights feel simple and boring, roll hit roll hit roll hit etc, I had more fun defeating Sir Alonne in DS2 than the final boss in this one. You don't get punished at all for rolling and shield defense get worse.
But just annoyances for liking and playing the other two games first.
I prefer the slow gameplay of the first two games, you also get penalized for going with heavy armor, bonkers.

But good game overall and just I prefer the other two. Maybe play those before playing this one :)

I highly recommend the game if you want just the gameplay. It's better than the first game, has much more variety and the Missions+ mode makes it extremely fun.

I don't recommend this game for it's story. It is a huge disappointment, if you played the 1st one and the DLC the follow up in the story makes no sense. "Somehow Delilah is back...". Also there are several points where the story could've have good potential but they dialed it back. There is no difference between high and low chaos, maybe you see 3 rooms (in the whole game) full of bloodflies when in low chaos was full of npcs or empty. The dialog only changes at the beginning, telling you how much bloodshed there is, and the it continues like nothing happened. Even the dialog used by the player (Corvo/Emily) is the same, and delivered in the same manner of speak. It feels like Corvo was supposed to be killed in the beginning and Emily was supposed to be the only protagonist. If you play as Corvo, Emily doesn't grow as a character, she is just an empress trapped in a castle. I think the only impactful dialog is at the end of the game with Megan.
Also Delilah's motivations are "I was cheated from the throne and now that I am empress I'm gonna trash the place" when EVERYONE tell you that she wants more... Her story has no arc and you don't feel her impact on the world FOR 2 MONTHS... it makes me angry the more you think about the story.

Anyways, good game, fun gameplay, terrible story. 10/10 IGN.

The best thing about this game is the gameplay, you get so much out of the nemesis system is incredible. You NEED to play on a hard difficulty, you need to die to experience it all.
The story is not important, it's predictable and the dialog is so generic, but it does try and it has some good moments.
The online it's also great, avenge people who have died and invade their fortresses. You get to see some funny orcs that way.
I do have a problem with the abilities and the equipment, some of them are useless.

But it's still a good game. If you haven't tried it DO IT.

One of my favourite games of all time and now they added Episode 1 & 2 for free.
What a steal.

I remember playing this game but never finished it. Now I have and still pretty nice.
A little bit wonky controls and late 2000's smudge. But the game is great.
It does need some patches if you want to play with more than 30 FPS.

I played this on the free weekend and boy did it make me buy it.
It's like playing Terraria for the first time again. The exploration, the discoveries and the frustration too. I like it.

And from what I've read the devs listen to the community and keep improving the game. It has potential to become one of those games that everybody knows because it's so good.

Good idle game once you understand the mechanics. Can't tell you about the story because I'm just skipping all that.

It does have some problems with the UI. I don't know if they are "evil" design by choice but just for QoL it should be more friendly to the user. Volume arrow that cannot be set properly, game ui windows that can't be closed, merge and delete towers button too close, at least an alert on remove tower would be nice, more info on the damage that you are doing.

Like getting the bar at the end for total damage done for each type. Why can't that be on every stage so I know what's worth upgrading.

But beyond that the game is fine.

I'm not a driving games guy, but this game is good. I HIGHLY recommend getting this before its delisted.

I've only been playing the Lego expansion and it's so fun. Very nice driving and explorations game overall.

Fun game! At first its kinda slow but once you get the ball rolling it's pretty fast paced.
The weapons are fair and with enough use they all feel OP.
The game is harder the more you progress throughout the levels. Sometimes it feel like a big spike in difficulty.
Some of the classes do feel weak compared to the default class.
The replayability is really there, there's nothing in the gameplay that makes it feel sluggish or not worth it.

They added endless mode, THIS GAME IS NOW BETTER
