As a lot of things have already been said in other comments on this "game", I'll keep it short here:

If you intend to dive into H. R. Giger-style interactive art, then this might be the thing for you. It's a bit disturbing, but hey, maybe thats what you came for anyway.

If you are looking for a "game-like" experience, this is a bad choice as the "combat"-gameplay sucks, and even for a "Myst"-like puzzler experience, this is too clunky. All the time you run into hitboxes of walls and end up running around like a fool in a fancy environment. I was more scared of the "clipping" than of the inhabitants in this game.

Your choice! I got this game at about 20€ which is the highest price I would suggest for this experience.

Well if you are reading this, you may be into nostalgic gaming - and that's exactly what you'll find here.
Look no further! The remake of the flash-game of your dreams lies directly ahead.
(on the other hand: if you want triple-A, cyberpunked, raytraced 3D-content this is the wrong road!)

When I first played this game, I've had to pay some guy money for the download of the shareware-version from a BBS (because the phone line was payed per minute). Now I am playing it on a 16 core pc with 64 gb of ram and an RTX 3090 - which is a bit faster than the last time I did it (later - on a "Diamond Monster - Voodoo I card").
I guess it was more fun the last time I've played it - because you cannot turn back time. But it brings back memories :).

Anyway - the gameplay is straight-forward and somehow like what you could expect from an "asset-flip" in a second-row game-engine today. You could do it in a "3D Scratch Programming derivate" if you really tried.

But way back - it was revolutionary by any means and blew your mind.
This redefined 3D gaming.

Have fun!

Fetzig!

Coole Stories, smoothes Gameplay. Daumen hoch!

Gorgeous, trippy rhythm game.

If you're into fast-paced-rhythm-games maybe you really should have a look at this one.
I got my copy of this game in the last Humble Bundle and was positively surprised finding a game of this genre. Since "the good old days" of DDR / Guitar Hero I am interested in anything combining music and an immersive gameplay.
This one turned out to be a gem.

Pro:
- Crispy, fast, futuristic graphics
- creates an immersive flow really fast (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_(psychology) )
- just the right music for this kind of game
- fast and accurate controlling (on my rig- can't speak for everybody)
- levels are well designed

Neg:
- don't like the music? ok.
- DLCs are too short

If you aren't into the music-style of it, all right - but this is exactly what a tunnel-flying-immersive-flow-creating should use IMHO.

I can't understand how people comment / review this game negative just for the need of a controller. If you've ever played other games like Super Meat Boy, where the first screen in the game says "you can try it by keyboard but it's no good idea" you'll see this is no "problem of a game". Get a life and a controller.

Thumbs up.

if (music_interest && into_trippy_stuff && got_a_controller) buy_this_game();
Edit: PLEASE add VR support!

Along with Bomberman this is one of the best "local-one-screen-party-games" you could try. Grab four controllers and a bunch of friends and get it on. Thumbs up for easy but addictive gameplay.
