Early Access Review
Absolutely wonderful, the amount of polish is commendable since they're considering this an early access title. Very refreshing nowadays. Really excited to see what content they will add moving forward.

The art direction, music and world building is yet another home run from Supergiant. Not to mention the combat and animations feel amazing, paired with nicely choreographed attacks that feel natural and has lots of weight behind them.

At the time of review (first impressions) I'm 5 hours in.
I made it down to the last room before Chronos fight and wiped due to Goldwrath giga-beam. I think my dodge button was bugged or something, that move is something else.

So in conclusion, this is shaping up to be yet another game of the year contender. Great work!

And Goldwrath can suck my left nut.

Nice and short game to 100% in a few hours. Not the most exciting gameplay but the "recipes" are simple. Something that bothered me is that every time you get a new resource from a card it will bump into your other cards and mess up your layout. This gets even worse later in the game where you barely have space for all of your stacks. Something to note is that if you're looking for replayability, I'd look elsewhere. That said, it's still an enjoyable game for the price.

Initial impressions of this game are not positive.
It's just elevators and jumping.
Is this what passes for exciting new content?!

It's a shame that this game was abandoned by the studio. I really enjoyed exploring this world, although the dialogue and the combat is sluggish at times. It COULD have been an amazing game if the devs didn't run out of money or at least tried to salvage it. What we're left with is half of a game, which I didn't even get to see since I encountered a game breaking bug before that. Pretty bummed out about this. Bright side is I didn't pay full price for this mess and instead got it through Humble Bundle.

Played this on the 360 when it came out and absolutely loved it, the way the world is built is amazing. The writing is fun and straight forward but can be a bit meh at times. The graphics is a big + compared to the xbox version. Driving in this game is quite ♥♥♥♥. Even if the game has it's faults I still love it. Would definately recommend it if you're a fan of metal or Jack Black. And Lemmy and Ozzy are in the game which is sick! Definately worth to pick up on sale if you're unsure if you'd like it. :)

This is a really well made and fun little game. Being born in '99 I certainly missed out on some of the older gems of the 80's (though I have played some of them through emulators) but 1982 has that charm to it and the sound effects are on point! It's nice to see leaderboards included, personally I'm not into chasing highscores but it's apparent that alot of people are when scrolling through the different gamemodes and seeing the same players at the top. I'd recommend this game to anyone wanting that old arcade feel and there's definitely time to be spent if you want to reach the top scores. And it's free so you've got nothing to lose!
