It's a weird sensation. The visuals, and the "UNIX system" design is pretty well done, quite high level, but the intermissions between days, menus (or lack of them) and the "story" are quite bad.

Feels like one person did the visuals, and somebody else use it to do a "meh" game.

Payed fort this when it was good. Then it became F2P without warning and destroyed the entire thing. Oh well.

Sometimes it falls short in very intense combat sections (looking at you, "boss fights"). Otherwise, a f**king masterpiece of controls, movement and design.

I don't honestly believe the game is enjoyable after the 3rd hour doing exactly the same button presses, dealing with the exact same maps, and the exact same RNG.

This game is like playing the lottery, as in, it requires almost no skill to achieve anything, but you must have a ton of luck that the path is clean enough of other players to reach the last event, where somebody else will win either cheating or mastering and micro-managing the minigame, to a level you will never achieve unless you spend day and night playing this game.

It clearly looks like the game will die as soon as all streamers and Youtubers stop playing it (which is most of them at this point)

I originally payed money for this game, now it's free to play.
Don't even bother, it's a paywall cluster♥♥♥♥. You are better off with something like Steep from Ubisoft.

ARK 2 got announced while ARK 1 had the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of developments I've seen in a while. Not giving a single dollar to anything these developers do, seeing how they push for new stuff even though they just release burning piles of trash.

Well, the game is not what any of us expected. But that doesn't mean that the game is that bad.

No Man's Sky has been one of the most hyped games of 2016, built over lies and misinformation. This is what happens when Sony (or any AAA company) takes a simple Indie game and tries to squeeze something that is not a real expectation.

The game is great. I played almost 18h. without getting bored, and that's fine.

Is this game worth full AAA price? Hell no.

I recommend anyone to buy and play this game. But wait until a sale over 70% of the full price, at least.
