Albion is a great game if you're used to toxic communities (and I don't mean toxic in the sense that people curse or whatever, you should be used to that if you're using the internet) I mean toxic as in random people stealing resources that you're CURRENTLY LOOTING and then running off. I made it to tier 4 mining and I'll be lucky as hell to get a single titanium (tier 5). What astounds me is that Albion hasn't locked resources off to people that are currently gathering "This resource is currently being gathered" or whatever. It encourages elitism and encourages people that are more geared than you to steal resources from people that have lower tier gear. This is especially insane when you consider the length of time that it takes to even get to tier 4. I've pretty much done non-stop gathering since I joined and it took 15 hours to just get to tier 4.

There's obviously a systematic problem there, but if you've played other MMORPGs then you might be used to toxic communities, plus, other than the gathering lock, the devs can't really do anything about a toxic community, so I'm only taking off minor points for that issue.

Other than that, the only other major problem is lag. an AFK timer might be a nice implementation to make to reduce lag, but I have an NVIDIA GTX1080 and an i7 and 32 RAM and I still lag in this polygonal game. It's usually when a lot of players are in one area but Runescape doesn't lag even at the GE.

People are complaining about how guilds run everything, but the progression in Albion in terms of combat is easy and straightforward, and obviously with a guild system, people who use that and team up are going to be at the top of the food chain. Don't fight them, join them, progress, get good gear, and join a guild of your choice, then you'll be able to access that end game content.

Ganking is annoying too, I agree, but Albion warns you that you're entering those zones heavily, and again, they can't do anything about stupid, toxic people. They've set the game up in a way that you should be fine gathering resources in higher-risk zones if you have the appropriate gear.

Aside from those issues, Albion does a lot of things right that other MMORPGs can learn from. The microtransactions are zero, they only offer premium which you can buy with earned in-game currency, or with real money for a fair rate. You don't even need premium to play, you can easily be fully F2P and never even buy premium and have a good experience, whereas in something like Runescape, you literally can't access a massive amount of skills and parts of the map without a membership.

The other high point is the class system. Don't like being a fire wizard? Buy some frost wizard items and train that! Don't like being a wizard in general? Buy archer or warrior or -whatever class you want- clothes and train that and have fun. This system is really nice because it means players who invest a lot into a certain class that they don't like don't have to start from scratch.

Overall, a good experience. I'll be buying premium and progressing more soon.

Wolcen is an incredible game for being so early in development! I highly recommend purchasing this title!
Pros:
-Awesome OST/Ambient sounds
-Great particle effects
-Great art and background/details
-Intuitive and advanced mechanics
-easy to pick up
-good weapon and skill diversity

Cons:
-Redundant (no points deducted, hack and slash)
-Spell too overpowered and given too early
(admittadly I maxed my spell skills)
-Some minor unifinished stuff (early access, but this is basic stuff)
-You're supposed to not be locked to a class but diversification makes you too underpowered

Super fun, free version of Overwatch. I've played both extensively and I can tell you the hard work put in by the developers of this game, along with some other unique features, makes this game preferable over Overwatch.

Very funny and does not require internet to play. Lot's of fun on lng car rides to just mess around and stuff! I recommend this to people ages 12-all because of mild language but you can turn it off in the menu
