Update and restart simulator on games i don't even own nor chose to play.

Game by fans to fans. Quite impressive the amount of care that was taken to keep the game true to the movies not only in aesthetic but more importantly, in spirit.

Polished labor of love is what comes to mind to describe this game.
Smooth gameplay and controls, nice visual, sound design and soundtrack. Lots of options within weapons and modifications both active and passive to change the gameplay considerably and suit what you'd want or play around for fun or to challenge yourself.

Absolute scam from a multi million dollar company that refuses to fix serious game breaking problem after 4 months of release and instead publicly announces they are working on their next title with the learned lessons from this one. I would advise for us to also learn from this game for future purchases from EA and DICE.

Even before I finished the first case in the game I had to alt+tab to check if the soundtrack for this game existed, Was extremely pleased with it being available and simply had to purchase it. Really good.

Feels and plays like a Dominus, even at full boost it has a decent turning radius.

Like several other licenced cars, you can't customize much of it. You can customize the bottom strip color, trail and goal explosion.
The car comes with a gullwing (KITT steering wheel) topper and wheels that can be used in any other battlecar, the boost is exclusive to the car.
The banner is a bit disappointing (in my opinion) as it could have been the iconic red flashing light but its just the logo of the KITT industries, a Knight from a chessboard game.

There are no easter eggs for the DLC, no hidden effects such as sound for using the boost or flying for over 10 seconds, as it happens for some other content in the game. The car also doesn't "extend" into persuit mode at any time, which happened everytime in the show when the car was using boost. The brake lights are also non-existant for some reason, you can see that the car has them but there is no light like on any other battlecar.

Overall I recommend it as it has really good control and hits my nostalgia spot as I'm sure it will do the same to several others but it feels a bit underwhelming in feature quality.

Decals can't be used, can't change types of paint, can't use other wheels asides of the advertised, toppers can't be used.
Only the McLaren flag and sound engine can be used.

Car color, boosts, trails and goals able to be changed to any available on the game.
McLaren wheels can't be used on other cars.


Wanted to leave a neutral recommendation, since it's not possible, I can't really recommend it.

Perfect game to spend hours with friends doing nothing. That is until one of your friends gets clumsy or decides to be an arse and set the game further back than when it started.

Online does not work and the game was abandoned by the developers. Could not even get a refund for it. Avoid at all cost.
