First of all, I absolutely love this game. It's a nice shooter and the physics and teamplay aspects are well done. half the time dying is hilarious and the other half disastrous, which I approve of. Nothing quite like not noticing the hellbomb is armed and being launched across the map, lol. the satire is on point and the ongoing story makes a huge difference compared to similar games. the player community is pretty great too, I rarely play multiplayer because of other players but Helldivers are pretty awesome.

That said, performance is absolute GARBAGE. I've dropped nearly all the settings as low as they can go out of necessity. I can generally play a few missions with minimal but irritating freezes but within an hour or two the game crashes entirely. There are also semi-regular connection issues which can really screw up your run. Clearing the shader caches regularly helps but this is ridiculous.

I will keep playing because this game soothes an itch I've had for a while, but I wouldn't recommend it until the performance gets fixed.
