Crysis 2 Remastered is a retrofitted version of the original sci-fi fps game made back in 2011 by Crytek. The game's events are set 3 years after the first game in New York, where the aliens from before have brought the city to It's knees with a virus that makes humans suffer through intense pain of tissue melting and eventually turning into a puddle of jello(literally). In response to this, a private military organization named C.E.L.L is founded to clean the streets of the infected and seek global domination. Prophet, the only (supposed)surviving member of Raptor team, returns to New York to receive the new Nanosuit 2.0, a alien exoskeleton made to turn the tides of battle to his favor and in hope to defeat the aliens. The mission goes AWRY as Prophet contracts the virus, to which he gives the Nanosuit 2.0 to a dying US Marine soldier named Alcatraz, sent on a mission to evacuate a scientist of great importance. Alcatraz, barely clinging to life from his injuries, is given a second chance by the Nanosuit to finish what Prophet began.

Crysis 2 is, in my opinion, the greatest game in the franchise. The game's approach to the FPS genre is very unique with the introduction to the Nanosuit, which is a sophisticated piece of hardware reverse engineered from the aliens technology, able to go invincible with the newly improved Armor mode, being as quiet as a ninja in Cloak Mode, being so strong to send a door flying away and jumping 3x times your own height with no effort with Power Mode. You are able to designate enemies and items of importance with your visor from a safe distance, strategizing before executing. The Nanosuit 2.0 is a literal bioweapon as it is able to turn the virus against their creators with a jump into the virus spreading machine and capable of making a vaccine for it. Those are only some of the important features. The rest are as immersive as the main ones such as being a life support machine, seen in the case of Alcatraz as he is a literal corpse walking but the suit keeps him alive and healthy. I absolutely love the Nanosuit 2.0, they did a phenomenal job with the deep lore of it and even explaining how the features are even possible. The characters ingame are also full of lore and memorable with each one having their own personality and background. The soundtrack is composed by Hans Zimmer, as he is famous for his production of masterwork soundtracks such as from Gladiator movie, Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean and countless more films and games, with Crysis 2 being no exception. The gameplay is made in the 'hit and run' style, as the Nanosuit 2.0 for It's abilities consumes It's limited energy pool so It's best to designate enemies with the visor before you go in as the enemies can tear you to shreds. The AI, good but not the best, have a few unique strategies, they will call out your location and try to bring you out of cover with grenades, have a specialized weapon in order to drain your energy bar and leave you defenseless and will work in groups in order to bring you down. As for difficulty settings, the game is not hard if you use your visor in order to designate enemies, the easiest difficulty is basically a walk in the park with the hardest killing you from a couple of bullets. For the duration of the game, it is about 8-10 hours long, depending on your difficulty and curiosity for lore.

Now, as for the remastered part, I have to criticize the developers for the same mistake as they did in the first remaster. While they did include the same price for the original and remaster, the remaster is basically a graphical overhaul mod. It doesn't bring anything new to the table and while the game looks better, the bugs and stupid AI are not adressed which I think really brings down the rating. I did experience a lot more bugs on this version than I did in the original. Multiplayer option doesn't exist anymore, no new missions or weapons, the animations are as clumsy as they were in 2011 and the game doesn't run as well it did before on older hardware. Sad.

Crysis 2 is a really great game, the lore is very sophisticated and worth every second of reading, the memorable characters that I really enjoy every walkthrough, unique gameplay with endless opportunities and the fun of intense challenges the game has to offer makes this game my favorite in the franchise. I am disappointed with the remaster but I am thrilled to experience this game once again.

Crysis Remastered is a polished version of the popular 2007 sci fi first person shooter game 'Crysis' developed by Crytek in 2007. The original game takes place through the eyes of a elite soldier nicknamed 'Nomad', a member of a U.S. elite military group named 'Raptor Team' sent on a hostage extraction mission on Lingshan islands after the U.S. archaeologists have made a world-changing discovery that is undergoing siege by the Koreans. Nomad, alongside with his colleagues, is equipped with the state of the art 'nanosuit', a exo skeleton that is designed to give soldiers a upper hand in every situation with unique abilities that makes them superhuman. The mission goes awry at the very start after your colleague was kidnapped and later found slaughtered alongside Koreans by a mysterious entity that later on is identified as a otherworldly organism named 'Ceph' with the mission of conquering the planet. It us up to Nomad to rescue the archaeologists and fight his way through war with the Koreans and the Ceph.

The original game was way ahead of its time with its beautiful graphics, outstanding lore and unique gameplay style that surpasses most games made today. It is a unique experience where you can do anything, the map is not designed linearly which allows the players to roam and do whatever they want. The soundtrack, the AI, the physics and much more are all beautifully made that gives lots of replayability as you can approach the game from any way, be it a silent sniper, onepunch man, rambo, there are always new ways to play the game. The characters are all unique with distinct personalities with lots of lore to each one, the nanosuit that makes us look cool and makes us feel powerful, the tank battles, the dogfights(aircraft fight) are all super fun and unique. The addition of mods just puts the cherry on top, with the large community designing new maps, new graphical mods and even a brand new game for the engine that the game is running on allows for many new opportunities which is why the original game is so beloved.

That being said, after the massive success over the years, Crytek decided to remaster the game, improving the already beautiful graphics, unnecessarily bringing over the suit modes from Crysis 2 and 3 which personally I favor but there are lots of people disappointed, since you are always stuck in power mode contrary to the 2007 version where the default was armor mode. Apart from the graphics, there isn't really much more added in the remaster. There are no new weapons, no new attachments, no new hostiles, no new areas to explore, no new missions, it is simply a graphical overhaul mod made by the original developers. Performance wise, to get over 100 fps you would have to lower the settings to low or medium as the improved graphics also take a toll on the GPU, and that makes the game unpleasant to look at the mass amount of jagged edges. The highest difficulty setting isn't that much of a challenge, the secondary objectives have no impact on the game, the AI sometimes doesn't behave as expected, they all negatively impact the game and make you question the whole remaster deal. The only better thing is the graphics at high settings, they look amazing, however, you would need to invest in a decent GPU as even the better GPU's struggle to run at the max settings.
I personally only enjoyed it as I am a huge Crysis fan, I am addicted to the amazing lore of the game and would like to take a different approach to the game after many years of not playing.

Conclusion, I enjoyed Crysis as a way to experience the nostalgia and would recommend to play it, however, the remastered aspect is nonexistent, it is only made to test the developers graphical work. If you can get it for a lower price, the remastered is a good game but it is still disappointing, all the effort put into graphics are laid to waste as most people can't run the game with high settings with decent framerate.

The Walking Dead is a point and click episodic story horror game developed by Telltale Games and published by Skybound 24. april 2012. The game takes place in the shoes of Lee Everett, a convicted killer sentanced to prison after finding and murdering a state senator sleeping with his wife, however, he is given another chance after being set free by the beginning of 'pandemic' that causes corpses to come to life and to devour anything living in their grasp. Soon after, his attempts to find help only lead to him to meeting Clementine, a lone little girl who was hiding in her tree house for her safety. Lee sees this and offers her that he would look after her until her parents come back to which she gladly accepts. However, knowing the current situation, Lee seeks out safety for them, eventually coming up with travelling to the city where her parents were and teaching her how to survive in a completely changed world.

If you're reading this and still haven't played this game, you've missed out on a lot of great horror games such as this. This work of art, in my eyes, is the greatest, most immersive, most loved, most emotional horror games out there. This 'game' is a unforgettable experience, despite me literally playing this game in 2015, to this day I still play it and still loving everytime I replay it. The elements that make the game so great are the lovable characters, eerie atmosphere, greatly composed soundtrack, exceptionally good storyline and the list goes on. The game features 5 episodes, and every single episode is a masterpiece. Each episode features new characters, new environments that keep the player immersed for its full duration. Lee and Clementine's buildup relationship between all episodes is written exceptionally nicely and no other game can even think about contesting it. The trouble Lee goes through to protect his people, to protect Clementine, makes him the most beloved character in the entire franchise. I kid you not, even mentioning Lee nowadays, literally bring a tear to my eye. The writing, the way they portray the characters, the bonding relationship of Lee and Clementine, the never ending horror is so superior to other horror games that, in my opinion, it holds the crown for the Best horror game ever made!!!

With that being said, no game is without it's sins.
The only thing I can find wrong with the game are mostly the choices Lee has to make and the other being bugs and glitches. Have in mind that the 'The Walking Dead' franchise is known for having choices that don't impact the game despite being told that 'The game is tailored by how you play it'. It just doesn't sometimes feel right. I'm not going to include the wrong choices I think are not impactful as I don't want to spoil the story but just have in mind that its there.
As I'm writing this review, I am wiping tears from my face because this game is so good it makes me cry everytime I play it.

My conclusion, best horror game ever made hands down no discussion. If you didn't play it yet, DO NOT LOOK AT SPOILERS, just PLAY IT FOR CHRIST SAKE YOURE MISSING OUT ON SO MUCH RIGHT NOW
RATING
11/10 MUST PLAY (my opinion of course)

Cradle is a open world sci-fi adventure story game made and published by Flying Cafe for Semianimals . The game takes place in the distant future, where technology has vastly improved to the point of people being able to be immortal through the transfer between their normal bodies to artificial ones. The transfer itself is mandatory, as there is a global virus that infects and kills people and the artificial bodies are only a temporary solution. You wake up in some unknown yurt, completely oblivious to your surroundings, and basically try to find out how you ended up in the yurt and who you are. In your journey in uncovering your memories of your past, you find a young robotic woman that has been turned into a flower vase on your table, however her memories are as clouded as yours are. She is your only company in the deserted steppe and tries to unravel her own past alongside yours.

I am fairly impressed with how the game plays out, but at the same time some things are unclear. The game offers rich, glorious graphics with the ability to explore a vast deserted boundless steppe with a distant amusement part-like building in the background clouded with mystery. This allows for spectacular screenshots and artworks to be made and you really get the feeling of freedom as fresh air hits your face and the sunshine bounces off of you. There are quite a lot of easter eggs found in this steppe, like random documents that uncover the story, the random machine found in the trees and the other quest missions like your grandpas grave and your hidden cache of toys. The amusement park is also very nicely made,a really big dome featuring a bunch of flowerbeds in front of the gate with beautiful different colored flowers. The inside of this park is empty with several pavilions that you must get to in order to progress the story, and a couple of wandering black mists that add much mystery to this dome. The story of the game is pretty decent, featuring the buildup relationship of two strangers unraveling the mystery of their past and the mysterious building behind the yurt. As the story progresses, the game does a nice job of making the player actually interested in the story by adding more mysteries to unravel such as the message left behind from the protagonists grandfather and more.

However, I do have to address some issues. While the game has very beautiful graphics, my PC was struggling to have a decent frame rate even though my PC's specs are way beyond the recommended specs. There seems to be optimization issues with the game, as facing the dome actually decreases your frames but looking away from it increases it. While I was trying to do the first quest, you will be required to pick up some items in order to complete the quest, however the items deform into a weird in-distinctive shape that doesn't at all look like the items that they should be. It's also worse when it happens to important quest items, such as the eagle's vest, it has important numbers on it but because of the glitch you cannot see the numbers. The story, while being great and worthwhile for its short duration, doesn't make a lot of sense. The game's approach to the story is mystery and I completely understand that, but after reading a lot of documents I still cannot get many questions answered. The game also doesn't explain how the transfer is at all possible, leaving even more questions. It is a little too hard to unravel, even if you read all the documents.

But, hey. The game is really good, it has a decent story, decent screenshot and artwork tools you can try out, and you should play it. It's one of a kind.

Lust For Darkness is a (supposed to be) psychological horror game developed by Movie Games Lunarium and released on 12. Jun, 2018. The game itself takes place in the shoes of a worried husband, Jonathan, who has been living by himself after his wife misteriously went missing one night. After coincidentally getting a letter from underneath the door by his supposedly missing wife, he goes on a long and restless quest of saving his wife from some diabolically perverted people.

Truth to be told, I haven't ever seen a game with a story so pointless, so overly erotic for no reason, and with so little effort put into one of the key elements to a good horror game makes this game not even worth buying even at 90% off. As I progress further into the game, I find my self laughing more and more rather than being scared from so many overly failed implemented elements.
The voice acting is a complete embarrassment, sounds like some 50 year old guy talking on their phone with a serial killer while waiting for their bus, there is absolutely no emotion or effort put into it and genuinely sounds like something out of a comedy rather than horror. The mechanics, controls and the mask system is also a huge disappointment, seeing the clunky controls made me quit the game before I even started playing it and the mask is only there because the developer couldn't come up with a more interesting element, it serves no purpose other than being able to cross a invisible red bridge and that's it. The amount of nudity, sex scenes and the way the characters are undergoing sexual intercouse is absolutely absurd and makes it look like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was the one to create the game, spending most of their time and money on moaning and dildos. The AI is horrible, the so called 'villain' is slower than a snail, you can outrun him by walking! This is some next level game design!

The only good thing about this game is the graphics, lighting and the mediocre atmosphere but that's not enough to compensate for such a failure of everything else

This game is NOT a horror game, but rather the complete opposite.
If you're into sex then go ahead and buy it but apart from that It's bad.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is a very nicely developed totally different from the other games at the time game made by Airtight Games in 2014. The game is totally different from the other games made at the time, with such a simple idea turning into one of the very special games that many people, including me, still play to this day and hold dear, just to be hit with the feels of mystery and sadness of the game's elements.

The game is basically what everyone fears of happening to them, trying to find out who and why murdered you in a cold blooded way and stop them and trying to survive in the harsh and unknown environment filled with others like you and demons just to find peace. You get to see many flashbacks of your own life, some recent, some old, some bad, some good and so on. You get stuck in a maze with no exit, not until you settle your 'debts'. A totally mysterious, new and frightening world that embodies such an atmosphere that you would pray to not get in your nightmares. The horror of seeing your own body lying infront of your very eyes and being lost in this spirit realm without a clue of what to do made the game that much scarier and mysterious.

The soundtrack is really well thought out and the story is one of, if not, the best stories I've ever made in my opinion. The gameplay is rather short, about 4 hours long, but if you stop and read all the articles you find, then you wouldnt regret spending your money on this game. For it's short duration, I've had a ton of fun playing the game, reading through all the 120 articles i found and reading the rest of it on the wikia and I was 100% immersed in beating the game, despite constantly being killed by demons left and right.

This game is fantastic, and I would recommend it to all looking for a different kind of horror story, and maybe to those that like ghost stories such as people like me.
