One of the best if not the best Battle Royales in the market currently. Completely Free, with a good flow to its movement, combat and mechanics (eg: ping system, robust loot system, interesting legend abilities). For right now you have a roster of 16 legends (6 of which are free right out of the gate ). It requires 20 levels to get the in game currency to buy one Legend, assuming you average 2000 points each game you'll be earning enough for one new legend each 42 hours of game time or so (with the exception of the first 20 levels which is faster to get). Personally i don't mind the grind that much since the legends of the base game have diverse playstyles and by the time you get the hang of the game you'll probably have an idea of what type of playstyle you like and what legend want to unlock (if you dislike the grind, i'll suggest to buy the champions edition). At this moment Season 8 is ending and they have confirmed a new mode of 3v3 TDM for season 9 that is based on Titanfall 2 so yeah even more free stuff. Overall is a great game my only "gripe" is the monetization: a lot of the skins for legends and weapons are stupid expensive but then again EA is publishing it so it's understandable because they all need to make money (EA, Respawn, and all in between). Again understandable but annoying (Thankfully the MTX are only skins and not p2w ♥♥♥♥). Other than that you can buy lootboxes which...why? just don't and a battlepass in which surprisingly you can earn some things without paying a thing, personally i bought it because i saw that i was going to sink more hours into this and the good thing is that if you complete the battlepass grind you'll get all the premium currency back to buy the next one plus some cool/mediocre skins for legends(some free, some premium), emotes(premium), a ♥♥♥♥ ton of trackers(free) and good/mediocre/bad skins for weapons (some free, some premium).
