Worra bagger ♥♥♥♥♥. All is well until about level 40, then you realise all the cities/towns are the same copy paste layout, and all the quests are the same. Literally have more fun catching lobbies in Runescape. To give the game merit, the sound team did a good job.

To give the game some merit, the game has some fantastic visuals and the World is fairly unique. The story was also half decent. There are a few major drawbacks that I fear will be the games demise.

Firstly, the systems in place are abysmal. To this day, the friends list still does not work, the auction house is very temperamental. Secondly, I have never encountered such a convoluted loot management system in an MMORPG before. No matter how hard you try to make loot options fair for anyone, there will always be upset and drama around it. Thirdly, a guild roster limit of 70 is ridiculously small. I understand, it's a new game and this should settle down over time, but constantly having to worry about inactivity (due to how the guild ranking system works, another jank system) you are constantly battling kicking inactive players and invite newer, active members. As you could imagine, this causes further upset when people's friends etc get kicked for inactivity.

Overall, the game is merely "OK" but is let down by some backwards systems that have been implemented poorly, or designed to promote pay2win and a greedy attitude amongst the playerbase. If all you care about is fancy visuals and a decent story for a f2p MMO then fair enough. However, don't let the p2w and greedy community consume you, in fact, do yourself a favour and turn all social chat channels off, sadly the game is not designed for decent, good-hearted people.

It is everything we wanted, and more. As a massive SM1 fan, thank you, I can only recommend this game so much!

The game is currently on pre-download, stop down voting it, you set of sperges!

In the meantime, enjoy my nan's fantastic Victoria sponge cake while you wait for the game to release! :)

Ingredients:
200g caster sugar
200g softened butter
4 eggs, beaten
200g self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder

STEP 1
Heat oven to 190C/fan 170C/gas 5. Butter two 20cm sandwich tins and line with non-stick baking paper.

STEP 2
In a large bowl, beat 200g caster sugar, 200g softened butter, 4 beaten eggs, 200g self-raising flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 2 tbsp milk together until you have a smooth, soft batter.

STEP 3
Divide the mixture between the tins, smooth the surface with a spatula or the back of a spoon.

STEP 4
Bake for about 20 mins until golden and the cake springs back when pressed.

STEP 5
Turn onto a cooling rack and leave to cool completely.

STEP 6
To make the filling, beat 100g softened butter until smooth and creamy, then gradually beat in 140g sifted icing sugar and a drop of vanilla extract (if you’re using it).

STEP 7
Spread the buttercream over the bottom of one of the sponges. Top it with 170g strawberry jam and sandwich the second sponge on top.

STEP 8
Dust with a little icing sugar before serving. Keep in an airtight container and eat within 2 days.
2 tbsp milk

Played this game on & off for the past 10 years. It's great to see how well and how far it has come! It's refreshing to the genre and has horizontal progression at max level meaning no gear grinding or power creep every "season". I urge all my friends to try this game as it's just magical. The story is good, the music is good, the graphics are good and the combat is probably the best (especially if you make use of action camera!). I urge you to try it, it's free with no pay2win, you wont regret it!

Early Access Review
Fantastic game, I was hooked at the trailer, but playing it is something else - to say it's Early Access is a huge understatement, as often enough, it feels more polished than most AAA games that have released in the past year. It has a very niche art style that I think the older gamers would appreciate and the gameplay isn't half bad in the slightest. I don't usually like hyping games, and if I do it's usually accidental, but I'd say if you like Viking mythology and you like Terraria and Minecraft, you'll probably be in for a treat for 15 quid.

This is an utterly daft take on Takeshi's Castle, and it's absolutely brilliant!

Early Access Review
Unplayable mess.

Running on a Ryzen 7 3700x and RTX 2070.

Less optimized than BDO.
