I liked it. I didn't play in Early Access, so I don't feel like I missed out on any of those systems. It was a fun steampunk-ish story game. I'm glad I finished it.

Yeah this is Epic. Like StarShip Troopers co-op. Even better with friends.

Very solid tower defense title. Doesn't take itself super serious but it is seriously fun.

Repetitive. Just not that interesting. Not much to do in it. No story. Campaigns are about as basic as you can get. Don't like the ship controls.

I like the sound design in some of the places a lot. I had some fun exploring, but haven't had a lot of desire to go back. Not interested in PvP or anything so I guess just not much for me here. Will probably go back sometimes just to level up some and explore new areas. World is beautiful.

I've been struggling through this not-great port on Steam playing in Windowed mode, keep moving my mouse cursor out of the way and other negative quirky behavior. Just play on GamePass, don't buy on Steam. No love from SQEX for the Steam version...

Update 10/26/2020 - I will update this since it's now on EA Play and also the buy price is much more reasonable. Especially since EA Play will be included with XBox GamePass soon. My biggest complaint before was the f2p microtransaction type things on top of the large buy-in price.
However, it's definitely worth a look now, if you're already subscribing to one of these passes or you wanted to sub anyway.
The matches are quick. There's not really much to it. There's not that many levels or anything yet, but it's pretty fun.

I also notice that unfortunately the player count seems pretty low. It's easy to get matches against bots but hard to get matches against other players. It takes 5 to 10 minutes sometimes. I hope they get more players and continue to improve upon it.

This has neat mechanics and seems charming, but the payment model is all wrong. It's a straight up free to play model, but on a full priced game. Why charge for the game then charge for battle passes and heroes etc. I'm not going to invest my time or money on a game people / my friends aren't going to play because of a company's greedy payment model. It's not that I'm against buying a game, I'm against buying a game and *then* being nickel and dimed. If I'm buying a game, then I want the whole game, not a piece of it and then I have to spend more money, like this is some poker match with a buy in.

It's not special enough against the other games that are out / coming out either. It has the smash bros style mechanic and cute graphics that sets it apart from other hero shooters but that's it... I'll revisit again when it goes free to play.

So awesome! Spaceship puzzles. Great soundtrack.

Pretty interesting

I got Guardian and have some extra inventory space now and am using some of the crystals to buy some more bank space, so that helps. I am giving it another shot. It's convenient to be able to play on my phone or computer and it really is a charming game with a lot of fun story.

The game is creative and seems loved. Cool events and things.

I'm just tired of playing inventory simulator! So, I'm just going to uninstall the game. I thought about upgrading to guardian, but saw it only gives 10 more spaces? (It looks like this is 30 now, which is a slight improvement and I guess I can use the Dragon crystals to buy more bank space. Just showered with items and cool outfits. I wish there were a wardrobe system or something)

It's really cool and I remember playing the old flash game, but I have better things to do with my time than manage inventory. I really liked the Breaking Benjamin event, but again, the extremely limited inventory space really got in my way of enjoying the game.

I also feel like leveling is pretty slow? I don't feel like I'm making much progress and I'm only level 6 or 7.
