I got 10 minutes into the tutorial and was instantly bored and put the game down for a while.

But then I felt guilty because a friend bought this game for me, so I gave it another shot doing actual gameplay. This game is deceptively fun and definitely freaky if you limit your comms to in-game. It gets more fun the better I get at it.

I can't believe this game is this polished as a pre-release. Instantly addictive. It's like Vampire rust mixed with MMO style bosses.

Here are some unique attributes:
+ You can build a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CASTLE
+ Castle sieges (raiding)
+ Imprison humans and harvest their blood
+ Blood quality/type system
+ Sun burns you which adds an interesting fighting mechanic

I wish I could erase all of my memory of this game so that I could play it again :)

Lots of twists and turns, multiple story lines, and just when you think it's over... it's not.

Single developer who's active, responds to people, streams on Twitch, and loves his game/community... TAKE MY MONEY.

Pros:
+Good community
+Amazing depth for how simple of a design it seems on the surface
+**ABLE TO PROGRESS WITHOUT ACTUALLY HAVING TO PLAY**

Cons:
+New, so some features (party system) have yet to be developed

Comments:
This game *can* get kinda stale if you play a ton, but at that point, resist your addictions, step away, and every time you come back to it it's like opening up presents. What I mean is that your characters are progressing in whatever you set them to do when you last logged on... so when you wake up in the morning, you log in and see all the progress/loot they gained and it's wonderful.

Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this game as a former L4D player.

It's fun to play both sides, especially when you get pissed at one side vs the other.

Pros: Great concept, graphics, gameplay, mechanics.
Cons: Aside from cancerous players (people who DC, killers who face camp), there are some server issues I consistently experience when playing with friends (lobby host for Survive With Friends disconnects before game starts).

All my stuff was deleted/wiped with new update. This is a consistent problem for a number of people, and I think it's a shame. So, I'm done.

The best team-oriented FPS ever created. Yes, even better than CS/CS:Source/CS:GO.

The dynamics of teamplay in Versus are incredibly complex given all the variables of the maps. Let me reiterate: THE BREAD AND BUTTER OF L4D IS VERSUS MODE!

Sadly, the creators of the game released L4D2 way too early and didn't fully flesh out L4D resulting in a massive community death of the game.

This is still my favorite game I've ever played... tons of hours of laughter, anxiety, anger, and exhiliration.

Hope it comes back :)
