Even though I’ve spent many hours in the original Deep Rock Galactic, I honestly don’t enjoy this spin-off. Unlike Vampire Survivors, which this game seems to be inspired by, it feels like there’s less emphasis on strategy and test builds. Instead, it’s more about the cycle of dying, upgrading, and dying again, which I personally find pretty repetitive and uninspired.

As any good game, the only problem is the length.

This is the best Castlevania since Aria of Sorrow.

Play 5 minutes you will see the obvious: the game is unpolished and unfinished.
Every interaction or design decision seems clunky.

That mixed review is well deserved...

The game is really unpolished, but worse than that: it is not fun. The only part that the game really shine is the ambientation, with breathtaking scenes full of detail every corner, but it's hard to appreciate when the whole game looks broke and hushed.

Some crashes are funny, like watching two cars merge and explode. It ruins the immersion for sure, but a good gameplay can survive that. But it looks hurried and unpolished in all aspects, except the city. Even in the smallest parts of the game, like the inventory for example: it refresh every time you sell an item, making it very boring and taking too long to sell all the junk you pick up along the way.

Combat is bad, exploration is bad, the upgrade system is bad, hacking is bad. And this is something that a patch does not fix.

2077 represents the number of bugs that you will encounter along the way, if you survive the boredom of a generic poorly optimized and hushed open-world game.
