Spiritfarer easily became of one of my cherished indie games of all time rather quickly. It has so much beauty and allure in its depth. You can tell how hard Thunder Lotus worked on crafting such a work of art - the music, the dialogue, even the hand drawn lines add its own sort of intimacy to the story.

Spiritfarer tackles heavy topics such as death, depression, cancer, dementia, the human struggle (without even overtly naming them)... and consequently is littered with life's toughest lessons - saying goodbye being at the heart of it. These metaphorical dances paints somber adversities in a beautiful light but at the same time, heart wrenching. Back to its subtlely in defining each human struggle - this makes it such a thought provoking game, an introspective journey, if you will.

I really urge you to try this game, play through it, and really reflect on each character and the life lessons they bring forth (before jumping into any wiki / game article).

I thought I was picking up a little pick-me-up but now I REALLY need a pick-me-up after this. :')
