Scratches the mario kart itch. Level design and "whoa this is fast" almost gives me F-zero vibes and it also leans in the MK8 direction so I am really enjoying my time with this game.

This game has a great soul and interesting and challenging combat. There is jank but it doesn't ruin my fun. I approach conflicts judiciously, and flee from many, and that builds really fun tension.

I like this game a lot. Generic fantasy setting (not a movie or book IP) and I love that because the faction builder and world settings are varied and powerful and let me create the faction and setting that fit the mood I want for my playthrough. It has some fun complexity with the diplomacy and espionage systems, which has always been my fav part of a good 4X title. Combat is fun and fights can feel very large without being unwieldy. I really enjoy the immense variety of modifiers available, my units (in different playthroughs using different builds) all became really strong but in such different ways that made for very different gameplay experience each time. Adding a 3rd map layer with the Eldritch DLC plus the great faction editor means lots of replayability so that means good dollars-per-hour value potential. Also I appreciate concurrent turns for multiplayer. Serial turns absolutely ruin the 4X multiplayer experience. Just untenable. This game handles concurrent turns pretty well and I felt like I wasn't waiting too much.

This game needs to exist but it needs players so badly. To get players it needs to get the jank dejanked, and then we need another well-subscribed youtuber to feature some gameplay with a crew of friends because I tried that one time and it was magical.

The Sony account changes are garbage trash, sure, ♥♥♥♥ you Sony, but my issue is that this game runs like absolute crap on my not crap computer. FPS drops into single digits during a real fight with all gfx options set as low as they will go on my 3060ti. Unacceptable. I would refund if I could.

Its sorta like Stellaris but turn based and with good pacing. Scratches the itch for space 4X while being compact enough to complete more than one game during a single LAN party. I liek.

This is fun. It's like if PubG and Overwatch and RP1 spawned a game.

I like Risk of Rain 2 and Ember Knights so this game feels real good.
