It has a nice and interesting setting and i really would like to expirience/follow more of the story but the controls are awful and with a steam controller lock picking seems impossible, therefore i am stuck.

I failed to read the part about QTE... really hate them, no fun at all.

Somehow, after each update it feels like the odds are changed (e.g. Black Jack). In a couple of minutes I have lost what I have accumulated in two years.

Simply go for the predecessors.

This one was medicore at the beginning and got worse with the first patches on steam.

I've played those games for hours just for the soundtrack

It took me almost 20 hours to beat this game twice. The first time was with mods enabled to double hp and 2k cash buying every relict i could and i bearly made it and required multiple hp refills... I already doubted this game is beatable.

The second time without mods enabled was an almost flawless run. So it is beatable :-)
