Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game

It's the best game I have ever played. Everything is so memorable and as someone that loves the medieval aesthetics this just hits my spot. The game felt like a movie!

It's so nice just walking through the forests, while listening to the beautiful music and seeing the animals doing their thing.

The fighting of the game is also well made. You need to train to get better and learn new moves. To take on more than one enemy, you need to have a little experience and be advanced in you choice of weapon, that also depends on what armor the enemy is wearing.

Have I mentioned that this game is great already?

Great game. Looking forward to the new patch. You never leave terraria. you only take long breaks from it. :P

Okay, you might say "oh this dude doesnt have many hours on it, why is he writing a review?"
Well, let me tell you. I have followed this game since its release on steam, basically. Bought it on the 10th of june 2014 [prnt.sc]. The first update on this game was on 4th of June 2014 [prnt.sc].

This game is really fun to play and as someone who sees it growing up is just amazing. The developers care about this game, they listen to what the community says.

The Gameplay:
The Gameplay is quite nervewrecking at first, but you will get used to the casual cannibal-raids. You will learn which items to combine to get certain equipment out of it. You will find a suitable location to build your first base. You will discover a cave that belongs to the cannibals and you'll be scared sh*tless when you enter it.

The Story:
Now, the story of the game is quite meh, but for being a game that is still in developement, I'm sure it will be improved.

The Combat:
The combat is actually quite simple. You just hack and slash and block a few times to get rid of the cannibals, but someday that won't be possible due to "special" cannibals. Not to say it's impssible to fight those with a melee weapon, but you should probably upgrade to a bow, or explosives.

Overall opinion:
iz gut game. The devs are doing a great job and I'm happy seeing it grow up. Best investment in an early access game I've had so far. :)

I own this game since ages, literally, and now and then I like to return to the game, even though I tried multiple ways of playstyle. Many things to discover in this game. The only downside is that the game is capped at 60 FPS and the FoV is locked too, can be changed via the console though. I love it!
