TLDR: Stating why all the "negatives" of Fallout 76 isn't that bad. And how it's not for fallout players.


Well I guess it's about time I give my review of the game...

First things first: Paying a subscription for an online game to get extended features is nothing new. Hell, paying a subscription for a full priced game(which this is not) is nothing new, just go ask final fantasy that doesn't have a non-subscription way to play. Yeah, I payed for a month of fallout first, it was 100% worth it, and I think if you enjoy this game's feel you should too.

Secondly: This game may have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story but I personally never played it for that. I play this game to mess around solo or with friends, like a game should be played. Want to make everyone mad in a game? kill them. Want to farm for pointless items to give away to people for the fun of it? do it. this game was never about the npcs or the story, it's just that people had the wrong idea from the start. The game wasn't ever "bad" it was just buggy. People hated it because it was a fallout game that tried to be something different: an online game.

On the online note: Yes, there is server issues, but what online game doesn't have server issues? This game may have came out several years ago now, but the company who made the game never made a massive online game. If you want flawless performance then go teach people how to make code for thousands of different items, millions of calculations, and several hundreds of people per server. I can tell you this It's not easy unless you know what you're doing and have done it many times before.

Before you say "you're just fighting the negative people", I say "That I am, and that's because they clearly don't understand that a game series can be more then one set thing. Look at how different companies do their games, not all of them follow the flow; a lot of games make a game that is different enough it makes the fans mad but still does well." You may think i still don't understand, and that's okay. I've played this game in beta on the Xbox one, besides the login issues it was just as fun then as it is now. There was still story in beta, it was just a lot of computers and notes.

As for what I believe you all want to hear: if you like playing games because they are fun and grindy, play this game. If you want to try your best to break games for fun, play this game. If you're a fallout fanboy leave now, you'll just waste time and money, because I doubt this game was made for you, but rather the people who's never played a story based game.

Now: Is fallout 76 worth the $40 (USD)? If you play it with friends it 100% is, or if you have access money and wonder what fallout is like but don't want to play for hours at a time to finish one quest that tells you even more hours of story that you're just going to forget anyway.

If you come from fallout this game isn't for you, and that's the point of this game. This game is the stepping stone between casual shooter game rage ♥♥♥♥♥, to fallout enthusiast.
