Huge MH fan, been playing since MH2. At it's current state I can't recommend Wilds, it's taken the road of Dragon's Dogma 2 and runs horribly. With minimum settings and Lossless Scaling I can get it running at almost stable 50 fps. This is for a game that even at high settings doesn't look any better than Monster Hunter World.

Hopefully like its predecessor Capcom will optimize it, ideally faster than it took for World.

We don't need everything to be 'cutting edge' and pushing hardware limits, the world is cool and immersive but it's just not worth making the game inaccessible or horrible looking if you want to be able to run it.

Also the whole deal with recommended settings with Frame Generation on. Frame Generation is not a crutch to cover up ♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimization, they're killing an amazing series with their high end hardware fetish.

Game feels like a better cross of Deus Ex and Fallout. I've had no problem maintaining 60fps with a 1080 on high and haven't really experienced any crashes or game breaking bugs other than minor bugs that could be solved with a save reload. With an 11gb patch downloading and more to come in the coming weeks it seems like it'll be brought up to scratch though. Good game

Fun but only with friends, public games are almost always filled with annoying players breaking the rules (in discord telling friends who killed each other), players who constantly press the button one round after another with their friends and the occasional cheater who can literally force a vote with just his vote, and is able to skip votes after killing players.

If you can get some friends together to play it, mute your mics at the start of a round and only unmute during discussion if you're alive, it's honestly amazing. 10/10 pls make a sequel that feels less like a 2007 Newgrounds flash game.

Was fun on launch, servers are i'm guessing real sparse now so it's laggy, and maps such as hoopsie daisy and perfect match are literally zero fun, yet somehow are the most common maps to play on.

The game is a bit of fun with friends, but certainly not worth a $30 price tag.
Among us is $7.50 and somehow plays better than this.

First off, stop listening to the massive amount of reviews talking about how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the servers are for this game.
This game doesn't have servers, I'm not a huge fan of it but it uses peer to peer connections, which means you're directly connected to another player who is hosting or you're hosting. If you see a negative review complaining about how poor the servers are, that person just has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet or an ISP who doesn't like P2P.

I personally am on some high quality ADSL2, which is bad Australian internet. I'm also with Telstra, who hates p2p connections and makes them hell. I get about 1 in every 30 players who I get any lag with so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ some people must have genuinely awful internet and I'm surprised they even managed to download the game. Only connection issue I have had is back in the Beta I couldn't play with my other friends who were also on Telstra but haven't had a chance to try it again.

The gameplay itself is really great. It can be really simple or really complex. Lots of stuff you might think is overpowered has a counter you just need to work out, and when you do it's highly rewarding. Except for the Warden zone attack. That ♥♥♥♥ broke. Ubisoft pls fix.

The story mode was entertaining but short. I played it on hard mode all the way through from the beginning and it took about 4-6 hours. I only felt cheated by the game like three times in story due to one area having a pretty bad design, one area having bad checkpoints and that one time in the final boss fight where I got shoved and a catapult attack appeared behind me and killed me instantly. Otherwise story mode was decent fun, a good way to learn a good portion of the heroes and fun for co-op.

The online is great, I mostly play Duels and 2v2s and they're generally good fun. There's that whole etiquette thing that seems to of have migrated from dark souls like after beating your opponent in a 2v2 you don't go 2v1 on the other guy but not everyone chooses to follow that. Some people straight up disengage from their enemy to jump on their friends enemy. It's your choice really, some people hate it and some people are fine with it. Mostly the former.

Guardbreaks lead to sometimes getting an instant kill by throwing people off cliffs. Some people think it's cheap while personally I think it's great. There are some heroes who's strength is their grapples, but you shouldn't use them because of somebody being unable to counter your guardbreak and they also don't want to avoid standing directly next to a cliff.

Game is great, online is pretty great, storymode is good, community is iffy.

8/10 was worth the purchase.

Pretty fantastic swordfighting game, the little scavenging system is a bit weird and unlikeable but there are ways to turn off weapon buffs which is nice. Peer to peer in a game like this is an awful idea but I only got horrible teleporting lag ghosts a couple times. I was stuck in Dark Souls PVP loving it then this came out and I transitioned really well. Uplay has some long lasting issues with multiplayer from what I've seen as I can't play with only two of my friends for an unexplained reason on any uplay game. Worth the money I'd say 8/10
